Store is laid out very well. The in house bakery, cookie shop, deli, smokehouse, brewery are awesome. Prices are comparable. Some of the meat prices ive noticed to be higher. Very clean store and also a friendly staff. Great shopping experience.
Entering the store, & clean. The produce is beautiful, a vast variety fruits & veggies. They sell wine, cheese, & meats. Baked goods are delicious. You can drink beer while you are shopping. They also sell gas at a good price with your rewards card.
Very nice store! Well laid out, good selection of items. Excellent in store baked goods. Super friendly service.
Store is inviting once the doors open. Staff is very friendly and informative. A better variety of different departments. Nice atmosphere. A refreshing detailed grocery store that helps the local shop locally very easily.
we decided to eat at their little cafe. sandwich was not good. The pizza needed to be cooked more. the beer and flavored tea was great. Not sure I would eat there again
A very beautiful store. Every employee I encountered was very helpful. Clearly the "bad" reviews above are from people that have never worked in retail. I mean, come on, you're going to blame the deli manager for someone cutting in front of you in line because she didn't say anything. ITS NOT HER JOB TO SAY ANYTHING. YOU SAY SOMETHING. Geeeeze people, stop complaining about a store that JUST opened. They are still working out the kinks. So far, I am impressed. And it should only get better.
Just another grocery store just set up to make it unique. Customer service oriented to a degree, having only one self check out open during a Sunday afternoon rush was a poor choice. But overall the visit was fine. I'd come back occasionally if I lived in the area.
Fun store. Good prices on quality veggies and meats. I think the staff needs to be trained better. They are friendly and patient with customers but don't have the answers to questions you ask.
Great store! Hands down the best grocery store in Columbia! Superior customer service! Wonderful and delicious speciality departments, including prepared foods, store made sausage, sushi, bakery, smoked meats, full service meat and sea food, freshly baked bread, sandwiches and pizza. The produce department is also excellent! There is also a nice seating area to enjoy the prepared foods along with a glass of wine, craft beer or other non alcoholic beverage available to purchase. You can also choose to enjoy a beverage as you shop, as the carts have drink holders. This store sets a new standard to which other stores in the area should aspire!
The store overall is super nice. I'm mainly rating it on customer service which is huge to me. I found some out dated sausage in the meat department. At least 15 packs and it had already turned brown. I told the young man in the meat department about it and he just made a joke and asked me if I would like to eat it. Not funny to me!!! Also when I checked out my cashier was more interested in talking to the bagger than to me. Nice store but a lot to teach the staff about customer service.
Stopped in for a short grocery trip. The place was packed and exciting. Employees were everywhere: stocking, serving cooked samples, and answering questions. Bought some fresh white corn: super cheap and super delicious. One of the staff members overheard me ask my shopping partner if she saw any Cajun Crab dip; he walked to the seafood counter and the staff behind the counter picked up the buck without missing a beat. They hadn't even put out the crab dip yet, so they promptly prepped, packaged, and sealed me up some (delicious, only $3!). All of the staff members I interacted with were happy, friendly, and beyond helpful and courteous. Even at checkout. Looking forward to coming back and very glad they opened up. I highly recommend this Lowes Foods for quality, price, and shopping experience.
Selectively nice staff to customers;however, they may be overwhelmed by people spending their hard earned money. I found this odd due to the plethora of managers meandering through the store. The cashier, Chris, was very helpful by offering coupons at checkout after I asked where the previous customer obtained her coupons. Harris, the bagger, was very inquisitive about my visit with a delightful banter. Kudos to both of these gentlemen and thank you. At the grand opening 5/24, I really wanted to sample the strawberry basil lemonade provided by a local vendor; however I was unable to sample the drink as my question was ignored by the individual.
