This is the best Italian Restaurant that I've found in this area at this price range. Specifically, the 5-star items are the pizza, which is excellent, and they make one of the best all'Amatriciana sauces that I've found outside of the east coast. It has a bright, fresh tomato flavor. Their house spicy salad dressing is very flavorful. Most of the rest of the menu gets 4 stars.

We eat here after bowling on a Saturday night. Food is awesome! Never a bad meal. Staff is friendly. Highly recommended their pizza for take out. Yummy!

Great food, old school, traditional family style Italian. Pizza wonderful; hand thrown crust. Best since we left Syracuse. Service very good. We WILL be back!

Went 2 SPENNATOS 4 a Bridal and Baby shower (2 different people). Food is very Tasty. Service was buffet and personnel was very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend. Thank you.

Real Italian food, like grandma made. Full to the brim with locals. Not a tourist place, this is the real deal. They treat you like family, and something tells me these guys know about family. If you follow me.

We went to Spennatos last Friday before a show. It was crowded. I really enjoy eggplant parmesan and ordered it. I was very disappointed. Initially I thought maybe I wasn't hungry so I warmed up my leftovers. The eggplant was almost nonexistent. I saw seeds but it was cut so thin that I tasted nothing else but the very heavy breading. It was also very salty. Disappointed! I have heard great things about this restaurant.

I would like to leave a 3 1/2 stars, but that is not an option. The first impression was good as the parking lot was full and the restaurant was recommended to myself and group at Brandy Wine Falls. My group was excited for the food but the place was packed; A Saturday night this is to be expected. We waited at the bar for around 20 minutes and we were served drinks so it was fine. While actually waiting at the table we were seated at though it was a long wait. The food was good Italian, but not quite the best. I would return to eat if in area, but would not go completely out of my way. I'm sure it is better when not so busy, as the question of "Is the food okay", was completely impersonal and they walked right past without us giving them a response. Again just little things, but it would probably would have been a better experience, had the restaurant not been so busy. Decent food would recommend wide selection on menu better than any old Olive Garden.

First time ever eating here - the food is good and the wait time was pretty short. The service wasn't great and they try and make it seem more upscale than it actually is. But I'd definitely go back.

This is one of the most authentic NY Italian restaurants I have gone to here in Ohio.
My favorite is Pasta Alla Matriciana.
This is incredible. Rivals Mulberry St NYC in it's hay day.

Food was amazing. The breaded pork chops were the best I have ever tried. The stuffed eggplant was also very good. The atmosphere is very nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful as this was my first visit. I live an hour from this Italian gem and will definitely return.
