  The staff is incredibly friendly as well as being super helpful. They're not high pressure in any way, it's almost as if you're trying on glasses with a friend.

  I have to agree with all the great reviews for Specs Around Town! I have quite literally never gotten so many compliments from so many people on my glasses. They offer more variety in color, shape, and style than I've seen anywhere else - with the ability to add customization to fit your specific personality. The hardest part is deciding between so many perfect choices. The staff is amazing and lovely, fun to work with super helpful! Need an adjustment? No problem!
  Specs Around Town has a strong reputation, and it is well-deserved. They have my loyalty as a customer. I couldn't be more pleased.

  Specs Around Town should definitely be on everyone's destination list. Not only does Specs have an awesome staff they also have unique fun eyewear! Everyone is so knowledge about the lenses and frame collections. It is so unique and fun to know the background of the collection of specs you are wearing.
  
  I highly recommend making a trip to Specs Around Town and letting them staff do their thing; by pulling frames, sitting down and trying on with you. All while having fun doing it! It is not the same old thing like at the eye doctor's office. At Specs they like to have fun and learn a little something about each client. You are definitely NOT a number at Specs, you are a valued client. They are excellent at follow up's; whether that be different colors in a certain frame you like or if something comes in they think you'd like, or just to call and see how you are doing in your new specs! They have top notch customer service. People and other business owners should take a look at how well Specs does things! They are also very actively involved in the local community which is a huge bonus in my book! Support local!!

  Loved the store and the help that I received when picking out my frames, but after receiving my frames and had a problem with the way they looked and the prescription I was no longer treated the same. I was told that this was no lens crafters and there was no returns. They could send them back if the prescription is wrong or I could go back to see the eye doctor. I'm sorry but I feel paying over $900 dollars on a pair of glasses and get treated like I'm a cheapskate is ridiculous yes I love the glasses they have and the treatment that you receive before getting the glasses but I won't recommend them to anybody. Very Disappointed!

  I live in New York City and it was only a fluke that I discovered Specs on a business trip to Bloomington.
  
  What's amazing about the place is that they have the best collection of styles that are just as hip as any of the fancy boutique shops in SOHO.
  
  And the prices are fantastic compared to the shops here in NYC.
  
  In fact, I can fly to Bloomington, rent a car, see friends, get new glasses, and go home for less money than it would cost me to get the same pair 4 blocks from my house.
  
  Not only that, but the staff is VERY kind and takes all the time in the world to handle my requests. And when something comes in looking not quite perfect, they fix it for me!!!
  
  If I lived in Bloomington I'd be hanging around Specs just to have soak in the great atmosphere of the shop. The downtown area is historic.
  
  Steer away from the strip malls and chain stores and stop in to Specs! Price their product. And see how little great design can cost.
