Everything about my Southern Most Tattoo experience was amazing. Easy to schedule and personable front desk folks.
Goldo was my artist. He was fantastic. We discussed my art and placement of the tattoo. He answered questions honestly, took my ideas seriously, and was generally fun to work with. He was quick but not hurried. His skill is around the best I have ever seen and I don't take getting inked lightly.
Goldo's line work is on point and bold. His water color work is outstanding and bright.
I will be sitting in his chair again soon.
Thank you Goldo for your time, effort, and talent.
Pricey, the tattoo artist with the "Man Bun" on his head was kind of a D**k. Decent line work but never changed over to a shading bar and though only 5 days old it's really showing that I will have to have it touched up. I have many tattoos and though I kinda got what I wanted the placement isn't great and Man Bun got mad because I asked him to relocate once, would have asked again but he was being an a-hole.
Luckily, I have an "amateur" (does it for love) friend who might be able to fix this thing.
The place is very attractive, but the operator (kitchen witch) I got did a miserable job.
My mistake in letting him proceed after the first line, I suppose.
I, wrongly, assumed he knew something about representing Chinese characters (kanji) or at least that he would be able to take guidance and correction from someone (me) who did.
It is "the morning after" and I can clearly see at least one blowout and half a dozen lines that will have to be repaired. Should any of my Chinese friends see this they would certainly ask why I let a two-year old write on my arm. Luckily, I know an amateur who will be able to fix most of this someone who does know something about kanji and also knows how to take guidance.
Avoid this place if you can. Insist on seeing your operators (I won't say artist for this place) portfolio, recent work. Or move on down the street.
Best of luck if you don't. Maybe just get some quick flash?
The web site says they are open until 12am its 10p and I was told that they were closing, yet the website recommends going . yeah right. They can't keep time dam if I'd let one of them touch my body with something as important as a tattoo! Awesome experience! NOT!.
The guys did a great job and definitely put me at ease. Would absolutely go there again
JD did my first tattoo, and the experience from beginning to end was fantastic. I went here after Southernmost was recommended by a local. JD took my concept and made it into great artwork. Great art for a fair price. Very pleased, and will be going back!
My girlfriend and I got tattoos while on vacation. Rodney did hers (her first) and she is extremely pleased with her first tattoo. She felt comfortable and they took time to make sure it was exactly what she wanted. Jim did a tarpon on my forearm and it turned out beautifully. He is truly an artist. It was a great experience and I will definitely visit here again next time I'm in Key West.
My wife and I had work done by Jim and Jason and it couldn't have turned out better. Awesome time and awesome work. Not only would I recommend them we would go back next chance we got.
Absolutely fantastic! The staff was extremely friendly, and the artist, JD, did an incredible job. Can't wait to come back just to get some more work done by these guys!!
Worked with Ian for my first tattoo. Very cool guy with a great eye for artistry. Made the process very quick and painless. I walked out with a beautiful tattoo. Very very pleased. Thanks Ian!
HORRIBLE. I got my 5th tattoo here and am very disappointed. The artist called me 'disrespectful' countless times because I wanted the tattoo placed in a different way. Very rude. Oh, and the artist RUSHES. Maybe that's why the tattoos don't look good. Not to mention I can see the lines from the needles in the line work. Faded right away. Also, the artist didn't know how to take of a fresh tattoo. He told me it only needs lotion twice a day?? It bled soooo bad when I first got it- I know he dug that needle into my ankle. It's still sore and it's been two weeks. NEVER GO HERE.
I came to this shop after a shop down the road drove me out. These guys are great to do business with. Friendly & inviting environment & artists. Go there & ask for Jim!
