I'm thankful they were open on Christmas Eve. I got a sinus infection and am so happy I was able to see a doctor. The virtual waiting room is amazing! I got a phone call with a 18 minute heads up and was able to print out my forms in advance. I walked in, checked in at the front desk, and was able to be seen right away. Thank you!!

5 stars! Love this facility. Easy convenient quick and professional. Virtual waiting room is a great invention. The dr’s office lets me know when I’m next in line! Thanks!

I visited because my ear was hurting. The young lady at the front desk was very personable. She entertained my 5 year old daughter when she described the nature of my visit. Many would have rolled their eyes and would have wanted me to provide the information but she did not, she just looked to me for confirmation. The nurse and doctor were personable as well. There was no wait other than having my information input into the computer. I will definitely recommend this location to others.

I go here for myself and also my teenagers.
Without a doubt the best walk in clinic in Tampa. The virtual waiting room is so convenient so you don’t have to sit there and you are always in and out quickly.
On top of that the doctors are competent, thorough and kind- they really care about their patients.
    HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I have been to this place 3 times and every time I have gone, the staff has been helpful and kind. The wait time was minimal and the cost is affordable. If you need urgent care this definitely the place to go!

The visual waiting room is great! Was able to stay at home until it was just about time to make it to check in. Filled out paperwork and met with the nurse within 10 minutes of my arrival. Doctor came in 5 minutes later. Was out the door within 20 minutes. Best urgent care experience I’ve had yet!

Arrived with my son who cut his finger with scissors. Staff was very caring and provided great, compassionate care. Doctor numbed his finger and put 3 stitches in. All of it only took 30 minutes. Great service. Much better than going to ER and much cheaper!

I'm impressed with South Tampa Immediate Care. Short wait, online appointments, friendly staff. Better than the wait time for my primary care physician. Staff is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable.

They do blood work so I don't have to spend more time waiting in labs.

I like the high tech feel of this place. Spotless too.

I visited south Tampa immediate care feeling a bit under the weather. After getting my blood pressure and heart rate, the two nurses told me the Doctor would be right in. A couple minutes after, the nurses come back in and said the Dr wants them to run an influenza test (going up both nostrils to take a swab). I politely declined and asked if I could be examined by the doctor before taking any tests.

The doctor came in shortly after, arms crossed and was just staring at me. When I apologized for not wanting to take the test right away before being examined, she cut me off and said, "that's why you're here, flu like symptoms". She gave me a BRIEF exam (about 35 seconds) and determined that no medication was necessary.

To sum it up, they care more about how much money they can bill the insurance companies(ordering tests before examinations) than the well being of their patients.

Pay no attention to the one star There's no option to leave 0. This place is horrible. I went in with a possible kidney infection, waited 2 hours to see a doctor for a minute and a half. He dismissed me telling me I was fine. I'm writing this from my hospital bed. The nurse was incredibly rude and clearly chose the wrong profession because she had zero compassion She never even made eye contact with me. These people are all horrible at their jobs, don't waste your time or money.

Love this place. The staff are nice and the waiting room is beautiful (I wish my living room had some of the furniture). They even have bottled water.
I definitely recommend getting in their digital waiting list to save you some time.

The office staff were really friendly which is always a plus.
But I was disappointing in the wait time. I came in at 2:30 on a Monday, and wasn't seen by the doctor until near 6pm. She was nice, and pleasant, and didn't make me uncomfortable but She spent less than 10 minutes with me! And that would be fine had I at least felt i got some clarification with what was wrong. She gave me an option of draining or just giving me an antibiotic and seeing if it goes away (bump under arm). Naturally, I'm 21, alone and actually pretty scared of anything involving pain. I did ask her what she suggested and her response was still "whatever you want to do, it's up to you".
She also made a suggestion that it could be something that comes back for my entire life, and could get surgery but sometimes they won't even do surgery.
Of course I just took the prescription and left. She DID NOT give me any paperwork, or even print out any info on the "suggestion" she made about it being recurring my entire life. So basically I left with no clarification. And I still do not know what could be under my arm.
Also, about a day later I was kicking myself in the butt for not telling her to drain it!! I went in expecting it to be drained, so it's my fault for not telling her to do it. But as a DOCTOR I do feel like she should have told me what she was doing, and getting my permission, but not allowing me to choose, because I do not know what is best. I'm NOT a doctor.
Also, I do not know why it took 3.5 hours of waiting when she only spends 10 minutes with a patient. There were only a few people in the waiting room.

14 days after antibiotic was done, I went to a different doctor and got some more clarification and testing done. Feeling way better about the situation, and will not be going back to South Tampa.

THE BEST DOCTOR'S OFFICE IN TAMPA!
I can't say enough good things about how courteous the staff is and how efficiently and effectively they provide care. I have been there, now, a half a dozen times and I don't even want to see my regular doctor anymore. Insured or not, they've always treated me with respectful empathy.

Donna's awesome. That other reviewer must hate nice people.
