A money eater, but a great place for families. Good bands often play here

Great place. Fun for all ages!. Bands are great and fun venue. Couple suggestion is to set up a beer booth so you don't have to wait in long lines at bar. Take down umbrellas so you can see band and maybe have a cash line at bar too. Marco wAS awesome! Helped us out and made a mistake right. Thanks for the fun.

Fun place but the maze is a major no we got lost for two hours in there. However Cliff (he's in a white mask in the maze and just runs behind you) was great he helped us out after I called management

It's so inviting of family and adult entertainment. To be able to host a business party and have a kids birthday is admirable of an amusement center. It rained while we were there but all the amenities looked fully functional and a lot of fun. Bring your wallets and piggy banks, be prepared to spend.

Family Fun! Top Notch mini-golf course. Arcade and Go-Karts (zero-emission). Live concerts in the weekends during the summer. Brand new bar area, and a couple fir-pits to sit around at night.

We attended Sonny's as part of a group. The package was great. As a guest, all we needed was our card - very convenient! The place was clean and the amenities well cared for. The only thing I would note is that children should be at least 4 to have a good time.

This was our first trip to Sonny's Place and were pleasantly surprised by all there was to do.
I usually don't leave reviews, but due to the attention and care of one employee I feel obliged to.
After playing in the bounce house our son fell, scraped his arm and was hard to console. An employee (Lauren) came over seeing how overheated he was and offered to run and get him some ice water and another cup with ice for his arm. This was kind and helped very much.
We will definitely be back and hopefully management recognizes Lauren's quality of work. She is a gem.

This places really knows what they're doing! Nothing better than getting in your canoe with a bunch of buddies and paddling up the Scantic River from the Somers Mill Pond, which goes right behind Sonny's Place, docking, and grabbing a couple of cold ones.

My group all had a great time here. This was my second time going, as the only other time I had been there was to do mini golf when I was on what was a field trip with my vocational school.

The mini golf is still fun, though expect to get some water hazards. No worries though, as you can fish the ball out with some handy nets they have. The go-karts was my favorite part of the place; you get to go very fast when the recording says the green flag is out, and I love the sense of speed when driving there. I can't even drive a car yet (I'm 20 yet I don't have a license), yet I did an excellent job here and didn't even need to use the brakes often; I even did some cool slides through turns in the #90 car (each car also has its own sponsor like a real race car). It was so much fun, I went on it three times.

One reason why I'm knocking a star off was that the service for getting food was unfortunately slow; I ordered a double cheeseburger and a medium Coca Cola for dinner there, yet it took 20 minutes for me to get it. It was worth the wait though, as the cheeseburger there is probably the most delicious and cheesiest cheeseburger I've had there. Food's not too expensive; round about $6.00 for the burger.

The other reason is because the arcade, while it is nice, isn't as big as the ones I've been to in Nomads and Dave and Busters, but it's not a big deal.

They also provide cool ice cream flavors for dessert; I had a two scoop ice cream cone with a scoop of campfire smores ice cream, and a "muddy boots" scoop, which is a delicious peanut butter ice cream with chocolate pieces in it, all with rainbow sprinkles, though they do charge for the toppings.

The staff also was very friendly with us, and we even had a bit of a nice conversation with them.

I haven't tried the zip line nor mini bowling yet, but I think I'll give them a shot next time I go thereafter another race, or two.

To anyone who loves outdoor activities, I can recommend this place.
