It's a dump. The dorm I was in was cramped, with rickety metal beds and too small mattresses, basically no place to put your stuff. Zero noise isolation between rooms, any sound you make in the hallway is heard through the door; if there's people in the kitchen, you will need earplugs. Fortunately the music from the bar is not heard - a miracle, in the evening it was so loud I had trouble hearing the person at the check-in counter. Small showers with again no place to put your things.
It was cheap at least, I suppose
Good place. Nice people, nice staff, beds ok, bathroom small but ok
Location is amazing, truly enjoy this place as soon as you walk in the door you'll see a Super awesome front bar followed by recpectionist desk where guests check in. Service is outstanding from the second I walked in just ask for help. Truly amazing place.
I loved everything about this place! I literally booked a trip back when I got home. They offer free breakfast and dinner. I only made it to breakfast and they had Belgium waffles, juice and fruit. It was super good! The whole vibe and atmosphere here was perfect. The rates are good too!
I saw many water bugs in the kitchen. Staff was decent and the guests were friendly. Met many cool people. It's affordable compared to other hostels and I would go again just for the vibes amd location but the cleanliness needs a boost. Also the showers didn't always work with hot water.
My favorite Hostel when I hit Miami :) staff always makes you feel welcome and Julio at the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate me when my flight got in late at night and I was super tired. Always a cool vibe and people from all over the globe
Good position in town, great price. Room cleaning could be better, and lockers should be included (you have to bring you own lock). Bathroom is ok and dinner and breakfast are appropriate for a 20$/night hostel.
Seems like one of the best places for the real Miami party vibe/scene, but it's really noisy, housekeepers, guests, music, hallways, doors, everything. If you go, stay on the 2nd floor, quieter, better bathrooms. Seems like a quality place with quality people working, but then in Miami are the Jews the Latinos and the Latinos the Jews because you can tell it's owned by Jews (probably all the hostels are), but it's weird because they run it like it's a concentration camp or something--no breakfast for you without your ticket! Only ONE of each thing! YOU MUST HAVE YOUR TICKET TO GET BREAKFAST! Work camp or concentration camp I can't tell which.
I stayed at Sobe Hostel & Bar from February 13, 2017 to February 18, 2017. The location was awesome, it was three blocks away from South beach! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved how the staff hosted events every night for the guests. Every day was a different day filled with different activities and events. The hostel was very clean and the amenities were great. Free Breakfast & Free Dinner every day! Keep up the good work guys!
Very helpful and friendly staff. Great location. Clean. Large private Lockers in room. Breakfast provided. Very very colorful atmosphere. Lots of international people here. The one negative thing I experienced was cold showers all the time. Never any hot water.
Consider Posh There are some weird things going on here. I have reported it to Google and suggested to be investigated. It is very sad to see this happening. One time it was a great place. Now i consider it unsafe. Also sad because they have some wonderful people working. It is the management that has become twisted in the quest for comfort and job security.
Great staff. Real nice people. Friendly guess. Safe place. Great locstion. Dinner also included. Mixup with room got upgraded at no extra cost. Free drinks also included.
We slept at the hostel 2 nights before our cruise. We are a couple of 24 years old. The hostel is near from the beach and market/pharmacy. Really good location. Staff and service was excellent.
The overall experience was great for a college SpringBreaker. Staying in a hostel is pretty much like dorming; You can only expect but so much. The free breakfast and dinner is convenient and pretty ordinary. However, overlooking those small details, it's a great place to crash and meet some international travelers like yourself.
$20 in advance to some of the venues around;STORY was a nightclub I went to my first night. And things they promote within the hostel are worth going to.
I would definitely do this again, more prepared.
Nice place for cheap stay in the heart of south beach. Recommended. Best for the money
