Awesome resort. They have everything you will need here and friendly service. The terrain and facilities are well kept and employees are polite and helpful. Dont waste money flying out west and renting a car.Also the place is loaded down with MILFS

So, I wanted to drop a quick note to the management at Top of the World (Front Desk Services). I came in last night and checked in. This morning, on my first run, one of the lift operators informed me that my pass would not scan and that I would have to go to The Depot to get a new one. Not a problem.

Until I got to The Depot and there was a line out the door. I did not want to wait in that line to get out on the slope. It would have taken forever. So, I tried Top of the World- Rentals, but the line there was crazy long As a last resort, I went to the front desk. I told them that the pass was brand new, but would not scan. They took a look at it, scanned my receipt and the stub from the original pass, and reissued the pass. Fabulous service! I felt like they took my concern seriously and did everything they could to make it work for me. I believe the clerks were Sherrie (West Virginia) and Mariana (Brazil) and they were awesome. Thanks!

Amazing time hopefully going this year when I first got there it felt like I was in heaven it was crazy going from no snow at all to at least 3ft everywhere it felt like there was so much to explore and the cabin that we rented was like a real house amazing skiing experience best one yet coming back again for sure

The skiing/snowboarding is a solid 5 stars! I've been here a few times and the snow conditions are always perfect (keeping in mind this is an East Coast ski resort) and the staff is always amazing. The restaurants at the summit can be expensive, but the food is great and I find it well worth it. I love Snowshoe.

Awesome for summer getaway up in the mountains! Hiking, mountain biking. Tons of trails. Everything you need right there good thing cause it is about a hour down the mountain to the nearest town. It is fun driving the mountain roads.

Love this place when you hit it at the right time. We scored season passes during a local Washington, D.C. promotion and managed to "break even" by visiting the mountain 2 times during the course of the season. Key for missing the long lines is eating at off-peak times. Does that mean fresh powder in the morning and killing it until 3 PM to eat lunch? No. Probably not. But not to worry, because unless it's a holiday weekend, Snowshoe does a pretty good job of keeping the mountain groomed throughout the day. Other random thoughts: 1) The night-time ski area is a bit lacking. 2) The staff are really helpful with tools if you own equipment but need a screwdriver for a quick binding tune.

Amazing skiing, tons of trails and ski lifts, multiple mountains. Still lots of stuff to do during the off-season as well. Best winter and year round resort on the East Coast.

I go once a year for the past few years on a guys trip. Always has snow! Even at 50 degrees. A bit crowded over holiday weekends and pricey but it's a once a year thing so it's okay. The waffle cabin comes in clutch and the lift attendants are always Friendly. Western territory is great is you can ski/snowboard and want to avoid crowds.

I like this place. It's worth travelling a few hours to get here, and the drive through West Virginia is tranquil and scenic. The resort has a modern feel to it. Some good, enjoyable skiing for all skill levels. A nice place to spend a couple of days.

This was my first ever experience seeing snow and skiing and I would not have wanted it to be any where else! The lodging area has many options to sleep, shop and eat! Thanks to one ski instructor (David P.) I was able to conquer a blue slope! Without him I would be stuck in the learning area with the children. It was so much fun! The mountains were breath taking and the staff was so friendly no matter what!

The skiing/snowboarding is a solid 5 stars, but Snowshoe is very pricey. My wife and I stayed in February. We checked in on a Tuesday, checked out that Thursday and bought lift tickets in advance for Wednesday only and spent over $400. In addition to this, the cost of food adds up very quick. Said and done, we spent at least $600 for a three day getaway while only being on the slopes one day. This was my third time at Snowshoe. It's a great place, I just wish they'd lower their rates a little and we would come a lot more often. To save money, you can stay at the Inn at Snowshoe that's at the base of the mountain (10 minute drive) and bring food to eat. There are no cheap food options on the mountain. The food available is good, but expect to pay for it.
