I wrote a review earlier, giving Snowden Funeral Home a 5-star, but I just want to follow up with more, because as I remember the wonderful care and service, and compare with my other experiences, I am so impressed with Snowden.

They have followed up with grief-related communications since the funeral 4 months ago. I just packed away the extra copies of the service pamphlet and noticed how wonderfully professional it was.

I just cannot say enough to express my gratitude for their support and service.

My Son pass away and I didn’t know How to proceed , I reach out to The Snowden Funeral Home and they Got right on it to Get my son from DC and to bring him Home to me, All the staff was sincere and Loving towards my family and I at our bereavement Time , Nor are the Snowden Funeral Home is about Money like some of these other Funeral Home, they Actually Care about Family value and Love. They put your Heart first !!

Update: My father has since passed (2022) away and we were treated with as much kindness and respect as we were with my mother. I am so impresses with Snowden. They have even followed up with us. I would highly recommend.

My mom passed (2019) away one week ago, and I was tasked with calling the funeral homes to pick her up from the house. I was in a complete state of shock, the dog was barking, and I didn't have the slightest idea how the process worked. Mr. Snowden was wonderful with me!

It was Friday night and I caught him out at dinner. He took my call and was so kind and gentle on the phone even though I was clearly giving him attitude for eating dinner when my mom needed to picked up. He spoke to my dad and and was so understanding. I waffled back and forth whether to use a different company because I thought the price was too low (I was in shock, please understand). Mr. Snowden never seemed annoyed or frustrated with me. He remained polite and empathetic everyt time I called him to check when they were going to pick up my mom (minutes felt like hours - in all, it took them 2.5 hours to arrive). When the two gentlemen arrived to pick up my mom, they were very respectful, especially a young man named Chambers.

Two days later, my dad, sister and I went to the funeral home to meet him. Mr. Snowden had such warm and sincere energy he treated us all with the utmost respect.

We were just having her cremated and having a few Death Certificates made, he never tried to upsell us on anything. They had her remains, Death Certificates and all her paperwork ready by Wednesday that week, and they included a beautiful plaque. The whole process cost half what one funeral home wanted. I highly recommend Snowden Funeral Home.

Mr. Snowden, thank you so much for treating my mom, and my entire family with such care and respect.

We had my uncle’s memorial service there this past Friday. Everything was perfect…from the customer service, to the way the chapel was set up, to the way the program was put together, to their handling of the streaming, to the throw that was ordered and displayed.
Anyone who has lost a loved one and had to plan a service understands how difficult it is and how raw emotions can be. The staff at Snowden were kind, compassionate and accommodating. Kudos to Dia Snowden, Mark Dooms and Jacinta Walker and all others who worked to make my uncle’s service so special.
I highly recommend Snowden Funeral Home.

Snowden Funeral Home provided very professional services from the intake interview through the seamless production of the funeral service and transference of "my eternal love" to her final destination for ascension to Heaven. The services by personnel were articulated clearly and fully, and were pleasantly, expectantly, and consistently rendered, while over-delivering and under-promising. Snowden Funeral Home is, was, and will be an excellent choice or selection for providing a "Going Home" celebration for a love one.
