I met Ryan through a friend at a dinner. I was expecting a hard sell but Ryan and Justine and I think Tammy were friendly no selling. I asked for them to call me they did and while I am not a big investor they took me on and have helped me learn how to achieve goals on my level of comfort. They are all great and so friendly and helpful. I never feel like I am not important. Keep up the good work! Plus my portfolio has gone up compared to the last place I was using where each month I lost money!

When I first met Ryan I thought he was great. I invested my money with him and was contributing to it weekly. Once I stopped contributing weekly (because I opened my own business and did not have the funds to do so at the time) he keep pushing me to sell and move my money even though I told him repeatedly I didn't want to. He finally pushed me to sell half and as soon as he did he dropped me as a client. It seems to me he is about making money and does not have your best interest as a client.

When it comes to money I am a bit of a dumb-dumb. If you are like me then you can likely benefit from the considerable knowledge of Ryan Robertson.

My first meeting with Ryan was a bit of a come to Jesus moment. He posed questions like "how do you eat an elephantone bite at a time." But he set out an extremely organized and clear presentation on his philosophy for financial planning. We went through a detailed serious of questions that assessed my financial goals and risk tolerance. We then assessed all of my incomes and debt. You need to have a budget to do any of thisand I didn't have one. Ryan took me through the whole process and now only after a few months my grasp on my financial situation is so much stronger.

You may be asking, "How much does this cost?" All of the financial planning is free. Ryan was very upfront with me in telling me that he makes his money off investments that he manages at Edward Jones. That being said, I feel that he is working in my best interest and not looking to put money into his accounts if it doesn't make sense for my financial goals. With this in mind, if you are seeking financial advice here you ultimately need to be interested in (and able to) have disposable income for investing for retirement or otherwise. If you are looking for a fee for service arrangement for specific financial questions, this may not be for you. Ryan plays the long game and you should too.

They way I have it set up is that all of my money goes into their account and then they give me a paycheck based on the budget we have created together. Ryan then is able to use the remaining money to invest in a way that is in line with my financial goals. This is a huge load off my shoulders. I can focus on my work and know that the money I make is doing what it is supposed to.

I highly recommend Ryan Robertson.
