  Blink and youll miss it. Ill be honest every country ham i have ever tried has been way too salty and had a bad taste. Well im happy to say that isnt the case here. Great smoked flavor and not too salty. And while the bacon and ham is the main show here dont overlook the sausage and other products.

  Wanted to order their bacon direct due to having no pay pal option on their website, I was told they don't do that that for retail orders so I just had to use the "secure" system they have available. The same system that cost my sister thousands of dollars when her account was hacked. If you're going to sell your product online then you need to provide a pay pal option. Without a pause the gal answering the phone was eager to skip my order over my concerns. PATHETIC!

  The best Bacon period. Big, thick, salty and smoky; everything you expect from fine quality bacon. I cook it over hickory in my Traeger Wood Pellet grill, which only makes it smokier and better. This bacon is so darn good. even the box they ship it to you in smells like a piece of heaven (or at least a nearby smokehouse). We have stopped by the shop in person, but since this bacon ships great, we find ordering on-line ito be a great option since Atlanta is 3-1/2 hours south.

  Benton's Bacon-mention it to any chef in half the country and they know about it. Did you know that they also make 100% beef hot dogs. According to the mechanics at Smoky Mtn Harley Davidson, they are the best you can find. I brought a 1/2 case home with me along with a couple of slabs if bacon and other pork products.   While ham may be in the name, don't let it fool you. Benton's bacon is the star here, though the aged country ham (America's prosciutto) is giving it some stiff competition. Walk in and breath deeply. Smell it. THAT is the smell of bacon that can tempt a vegetarian. We visit every year on vacation and load a cooler full to take home, which is then carefully rationed out throughout the year. They do do mail order if we run out, but we don't let ourselves run out. Benton's is that good.

  I usually stop here anytime I am in in area. Their country hams, bacon and sausage are second to none. The bacon and hams are cured and have hung for six months or more so you get real flavor, unlike the watery offerings in supermarkets. I hope they never change.

  Allen and his team are all great people. Not only will they give you the most polite customer service, but also the best cured hams and bacon you'll find in the world. Will be buying their product as long as I live in Tennessee.
