Having worked with several IP firms in the past, I can say that the attorneys at Smith & Hopen are among some of the top patent lawyers in the country. My experience has been exceptionally professional and highly successful in obtaining full patent protection on inventions.

Our experience in filing a trademark with Smith & Hopen was extremely professional and efficient. In the past, we had used trademarkengine.com, and it was so slow and our questions weren’t answered so we just closed the application after one year. Michele and her team quickly returned our call and answered all of our questions and had our trademark applications filed within 48 hours. Very impressive!

I reached out to Smith & Hopen for a Trademark matter that I had and was thoroughly impressed! Nick was extremely responsive, professional, and took the time to listen. The expertise of this law firm and their ability to find all creative opportunities so that the law works in your favor is truly unrivaled. Needing an attorney in any situation can be unnerving and stressful but with Smith & Hopen it helped to put my mind at ease. I can tell you that I am not easily impressed, so for me to write this review is saying a lot. I hope that I never encounter a Trademark or Patent issue again, but if I do, I know exactly who I am calling. I highly recommend this firm to anybody in need of a good Attorney in this subject matter.

Smith & Hopen has been our Patent Attorneys for 8 years now. I have had nothing but a great and positive experience with them. They are very professional and experienced. We started a new business and was referred to Smith & Hopen to help us with our trademarking. From the first call, they were informative, professional and very reasonable with fees. They helped guide us, as we were in the early stages of our business. We had never gone through the process before and they have been extremely patient with us and explained everything along the way. They are very responsive and always available for questions when we have them. I highly recommend this firm!
