My chipper needed a new engine. Stewart was very helpful and knowledgeable. He knew what questions to ask. When I got back to him with the details he was able to quickly identify the replacement. He took the time to tell me about my new B & S 5hp and how it differed from the old one.

New engine arrived in less than 48 hours. It bolted right up started first pull and runs great. Thank you.

I ordered it Tuesday morning and it was at my front door Thursday evening. The engine was well packed in a very sturdy box. The web site stated "scratch and dent" but this engine was without a mark and was in pristine condition. I wasn't expecting that and was very happy. I attached the engine to the power washer pump, filled with oil and gas, and it started on the first pull. The engine had a very good work out over the last few days and it has operated flawlessly. I couldn't be happier. I don't usually do reviews, but when you come across something this good and at that price, you have to give them praise. I have already recommended them to friends.

Customer service is much improved from previous years. The guys behind the service counter and on the floor are friendly, knowledgeable and upfront with information. I've purchased relatively simple parts that aren't available at nearby auto, hardware or discount/box stores at reasonable prices. When service has been needed on mower they've told me if it would be immediate or there's a few days backlog. No pressure on sales as they said not working commission.makes for more pleasant shopping experience. Thanks guys, keep up the good work.

Engine was exactly as pictured. Super fast shipping. Very pleased with the transaction. Everyone was very nice and helpful on the phone when ordering and helping cross reference my old engine to the new one. Engine runs great! Starts on the first pull! I tapped the holes in the housing on motor for mounting and added oil.

I ordered a replacement engine from their online site. I was quickly sent an engine that didn't work.
But once they found out that I wanted to return it (no oil or gas put in), they quickly lost interest in my business. The delivery date for my new engine was pushed back twice. The second time I was asked to pay an additional $50 for the tardy delivery. I elected to take my money elsewhere.
Do yourself a favor and do the same. Buy locally.

I ordered a set of new scratch and dent blades for my lawn mower. Not only did they come earlier than expected, they are in perfect condition. We all know what they'll look like after cutting grass, but they are very good quality and look fantastic. Highly recommend small engine warehouse if the rest of their stock is of the same quality.

I was, at one point, skeptical that the transaction was going to happen at all in light of the over the top security issues that the US customs has in place. Free trade my butt!. None the less, Tim at Small Engine Warehouse was so very helpful and guided me through the process with a cordial and professional attitude. It took a while but eventually the order was placed and within a few short days, the motor arrived. The new unit bolted in as advertised. Due to some previous alterations, I had to modify things a little. The bolt holding the pto clutch on was may too short and the cables for the throttle and choke were way too long. These things were easily rectified. Also the bolt holes for the throttle lever were out exactly one bolthole (not fun) so I actually destroyed the new one and used the old one again which made the bolt holes line up perfectly. Done. My wiring had been bastardized a bit so that took a bit of time to get right. Gas line was a breeze. Filled it with oil, pulled the choke and after about a dozen cranks it fired up and it seems to work perfectly. Not bad. What really hurt was the exchange rate and paying the broker a bunch of money for doing.I don't know, .not much? The Small Engine Warehouse is a top notch place in my books. Thanks to Tim and his crew for getting me back in action, although cutting grass still sucks!

Bought a new Kawasaki engine from them a a year and a half ago with a 2 year warranty. Apparently the warranty comes from them rather than the engine manufacturer and you need to remove the engine and mail it back on your own dime for warranty service?! Absolutely the most absurd thing I have ever heard. Read the fine print, the 2 year warranty doesn't mean a damn thing. That's like buying a Ford truck and having to ship it to Michigan for warranty work

Bought CRAFTSMAN 12 V BATTERY in June 19, 2016. Charged it used it 2x. When I tried to use it again, had to charge it again. This time it never took a charge. It's obvious it was not a new charger , which I should have been told. When I called I was told it was sold as scratched or dented. I was never told either. I have bought the same charger from Sears and it lasted me 10 years, but not this one!!!!! I will never purchase from this company again!!!!!! case # 3401423.490268. How was your experience?
