Everything went wrong on my first jump. 1st Instructor lost control, and left me high and dry. 2nd instructor also lost control and pulled my main chute while I was upside down causing the lines to go over the main chute. Spiraling out of control, I was left to fend for myself on my first jump. Main chute was entangled, so I had to release it. Thankfully I had prior Army training, was able to keep my calm and the reserve shoot worked. Once I made it to the landing zone, the 1st instructor told me I did well, and it was a freak accident , and he was sorry he lost his handle of me. But after, I had a debriefing, and After Action Review with the jump Master, the 1st instructor changed his story, and said he never had control of me. He put the blame all on me for the incident. Ground training was on point, in air training is severely lacking! Do not go here, without hours and hours of wind tunnel experience!

Went for my first ever tandem skydive. Did a 13000 feet jump with Felipe. The process was smooth, the plane ride quick and the jump unforgettable. 10/10 would jump here again.

Had an awesome experience here at Skydive San Diego. My wife and I jump from 13,000 feet and right away wanted to jump again. We will definitely be skydiving again.

I have been coming here on and off since 1975. The skydiving operation has changed hands many times over the years. As it has fairly recently. The new owners have the place looking better than I have ever seen it. For instance, green grass where there has always been dusty dirt. It is a desert here and the grass is hard to keep going but the difference it makes. It's park like now. Shady and cool. You don't have to jump out of an airplane, just come out and watch the action. It's fun.

I jumped solo first time. I was intimidated by all the dudes who get there in their motorcycles and with cool tattoos. However my instructor, Emily, was like an angel who fell from sky (with a canopy). She was so cool and chill through the whole lesson and was never condescending despite her 2000+ jumps. Very thorough making sure I understood everything and also very thorough with feedback after my jump despite not being the best student! Super recommended and definitely going back!

Victor at Skydive San Diego was AMAZING! Made me feel super safe and comfortable! I went in a group of 4 girls and we had a blast and all said we would do it again! They were all very professional, yet fun at the same time! We all felt extremely safe! Thanks again, Victor!

WOW! What an amazing and exhilarating adventure! Thanks, Bird, my in-flight tandem instructor, for making this the best adventure ever! You rock! Get ready for the thrill ride of your life as you leave the airplane, followed by the most serene 'float' as you descend upon beautiful San Diego and its surroundings. Such a great time. First of all, skydiving with them was one heck of an experience. It was such a thrilling experience and I would do it again. However, I would not do it again with them and purchase the video package. The video package is a waste of your money. I went skydiving almost a month ago, and I have not received my video. They told my friends and me that the video would be sent to us via email 2 weeks after the jump. We all waited, yet most of us did not receive the videos. We called them and found out that almost half of our emails were completely wrong. When we first purchased the video packages, they clearly told us to write clearly as possible on the envelope with our email on it. I received the "claim profile" email that showed us a little congratulatory comment on jumping. Ironically, they get our emails wrong for the videoshow could this happen? A lot of us called them every other day just to confirm if the video was being sentand yet the emails were STILL wrong. I personally called them at least 8 times. Only one person out of those 8 calls were able to get my email correctly. Actually, one call before told me that my video was NEVER uploaded in the first place. There is a lack of communication within the administrative services. We constantly communicated with them, hoping that the videos would be sent. Eventually, they reached me out by the correct email, and sent me the link to my video today. Lo and behold, the video link led to me a "video no longer available" notice.
So all in all, the jump was one of the best experiences ever. The service and video? Extremely disappointing. They need to step up their communication within the administration. If the video does not arrive by this week, I will request for a refund.

What a great experience. All the staff was super helpful and friendly. All the gear is top of the line as far as safety goes. All of their instruction prior to jumping making you confident in the ability of your tandem jumper. It made the experience more fun than scary. Even though it was a little longer of a drive, it was totally worth it. You've gotta go! :)

Like every other place some of the staff in the front can be very helpful or rude, but at the end of the day the professional skydivers (Lizard) and the others made it very comfortable and funit was an amazing experience and definitely worth it !

5 HOURS WAIT AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!

We booked 2 jumps online for 2pm, we showed up on time and been told that we would have to wait about 2 hours. So we wait 2 hours but our names are not called, I go back to the counter and ask if they could give us an update, now we have to wait another 2 hours because of a plane problem. Another 2 and half hours pass and still nothing, go back to the counter and the same arrogant person told us that we have to wait.

No one from the staff EVER came to us to offer water (the day was really hot) or offer anything so I asked for a compensation for the LONG wait but the answer was "we don't do that, you have to wait" period.
What was supposed to be an exciting day became an awful long day which we just wanted to end, when we finally got in the plane the enthusiasm wasn't there anymore.

They've been open for a while but still can't even give you a specific time, when you know that each flight takes approximately the same time, even if you have a problem with one of your plane you still can make a guess about the time we would jump and keep informed your customers

Only positive point is for the team of instructors, really nice and fun people, they tried hard to cheer us up but unfortunately it was too late for us to enjoy.

Four of us went on sat may 20th. At first there systems were down. We had an 8am reservation. I would say an hour later everything was working. People at check in are super nice and took time to explain everything. From the time to check in to actually jump was an 1 1/2. Instructors are down to earth and friendly. Joked around a lot which made the first time experience easier. I had Lizard who did the jump with me. He was very patient, funny, and knew what the hell he was doing. J.T. Did the filming (I got great pictures!) both were awesome! All staff was great! I will be back!

Amazing experience! I've never jumped before, and it was one of the best experiences I had in my life, and this is in great part because of the people working there.
Everything was 10/10. I totally recommend doing this, and definitely doing it there!
I felt super safe and it was fun 100%!
