The entire process was painless, expedient and a good use of my time. From the initial phone call, confirmation of terms to the in person visit. No run around and promising the moon only to not have it when we arrived.
Inventory was low and we knew we would have to wait for a vehicle. We were pleasantly surprised to be able to get a good deal in the process. I have already referred several colleagues to Randy and told them of the excellent sales experience we have had at Simpson.
I have been to the dealership a few times, and as recently as one or two weeks before this last visit. And I really was not looking forward to do it again. BUT YAYYY! What a difference! This last visit was definitely the greatest! It's the first time I did not leave upset, frustrated, and very disappointed! And it was thanks to the great costumer service, attention and amazing professionalism of your service adviser Antonio Chavez! As I said I have been to the dealership times before, but I have never received there the service I received this time from Antonio. His patience and caring attitude as he explained everything(the problems, the services and time needed, etc) made a really bad day and problem a lot easier. I can not say enough how great and helpful he is. He is knowledgeable and extremely professional, and that no doubt gives the costumer confidence on the services we are getting. I am really happy Antonio was at the dealership when I brought my car back in. And knowing that he is there I will definitely feel more comfortable coming back and also recommending your Dealership now. Thank you for the amazing help Antonio Chavez.
Nico was my sales person. Super cool to work with. He did an awesome job helping me get into my new car. Ask for Nico when you visit Simpson Chevrolet of Irvine.
I bought a Volt car at the Simpson Chevrolet at Garden Grove. They treated me well and gave me a very good price. They even got me a carpool sticker at no cost to me. Then a few weeks after I bought the car, it stalled. I took it to the Simpson dealer in Irvine. The staff was courteous and GM paid for a rental while the car was in service. But because the Volt is not a typical car, it took a while to resolve the issue. While I was waiting for the fix, I contacted the dealer several times and it was very hard to get a hold of someone. In the end, they did fix my car. They were also understanding and apologetic. They offered to pay for a month's lease payment. It took several months to receive that payment, but I appreciate it nonetheless. Overall, I think GM and the dealer tried hard to earn my business; but there can be improvements.
Got an oil change and tire rotation completed. I was in the "outside waiting area" waiting for my truck and all of a sudden I hear a loud "bang". The driver (one of your employees) of my truck hit my left passenger door on the gate. The driver supposedly did not realize the door was even open while he was driving my truck. There was a big paint scuff on my door handle and luckily there was not any dents. They were able to do some magic and buff out the paint scuff to where it looked like nothing even happened. Regardless of them being able to take care of it, this situation should have never happened in the first place.
We were looking for a new vehicle for just over 2 months. We shopped many dealers in the LA and OC area. Most failed to respond or didn't provide decent service when they did. Simpson Chevrolet was totally different. They gave us great service from the time we connected, helping us find the exact car with all the features we wanted and at a great price. Everyone there is so friendly and accommodating. Kudos to Luke Whisler, our salesperson. He took good care of us through through the whole process.
My 2015 Cruze was brought for a coolant pump replacement (under warranty) last week. When I got it back, I noticed a chirping sound coming from the engine that wasn't present before the repair.
Suspecting the new issue was due to something that happened during the repair, I brought it in yesterday to have them take a look at it.
The service staff is very friendly and quite patient when you speak to them, but they promised to call me back the same day, but they didn't.
When I called them myself, they're telling me to check back later until they know more. I understand when it's busy, it might take longer.
At least let me know it's going to take longer, so I can rent a car.
Just don't promise to call back if you won't.
EDIT: It's Saturday, three days later and I've been promised more information, which I didn't get (again, of course). I'll have to call them myself on Tuesday and hope they'll know more by then.
I should have gotten a rental car. It looks like it will take a while before they even start looking at my car.
If only they were honest about their schedules.
I paid nearly $4,000 in repairs for various items, one of which was the air-conditioning system. I was charged $368.36 for the air-conditioner repair, of which $303 was labor. The air-conditioner was not in fact repaired. When I brought the vehicle back, I was told it needed a new compressor and was quoted $1,230 for the repair. When I objected to the high price, the quote came down to $1,090. I checked with my old shop. They quoted me $865 (same compressor). The dealership was willing to price match, however when I insisted that I would pay for the part only (note that I had already paid $303 for labor and received nothing for it), the service manager wouldn't budge. My conclusion is that Simpson is not serious about customer satisfaction and they are unwilling to make it right when their technicians fail. The replacement part was quoted to me as $475, so Simpson wanted me to pay another $400 or so for the same tech that blew it the first time. I asked the other repairmen how long they typically run the air-conditioning to ensure it is fixed and was told 30 minutes. That seemed long to me, but had the Simpson tech ran it for even 10 minutes he would have realized the air-conditioning didn't work. When I brought it in it was overcharged, indicating the source of the problem was unlikely to be a leak (the technician's conclusion).
I suppose we could argue about it all day, but I had already paid a total of $1,839 in labor alone and the Service manager refused to give back even a couple of hours on a return service call where the issue and dispute was entirely related to the labor on a specific job that was not completed satisfactorily. I took my business elsewhere, and I won't be back.
Took Spark EV in for Warranty Repairs, the intake process was quick, the 5 repairs were done quickly as well.
The facilities were clean and staff very helpful, including Sergio the Service Adviser.
While waiting, talked to salesman Anthony about a Bolt, he was very well informed and helpful, answering all questions.
I'll be buying my next car from Anthony/Simpson Chevrolet.
Karl, Scott, Javier and Jeff were all amazing!!!! I drove three cars, and we finally found one that was in my budget. Extraordinary service!!!!!! Felt like family!!! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new vehicle, especially a 2017 Camaro !!! Love my new ride
I was happy with my service adviser, Sergio. He was friendly, honest, kept me well informed, and was fair.. I just wish I could have gotten everything done in one trip. I will be coming back next week to get the rest of the work done.
Simpson Chevrolet of Irvine did a great car. We were looking for a very specific model and they went above and beyond to trade for it and still give us a good deal. There staff was nice, helpful, and professional and their dealership was clean and well organized. They did a great job for us and I would definetely recommend them.
Nico Fusco, the Internet Sales Manager, was very helpful and prompt in returning emails and phone calls. He got me the very best deal I could find without hours of haggling. Eric in finance also made the process smooth and efficient. This was by far the best experience I've ever had at a car dealership ever!"|"
I bought a 2017 Chevy Traverse one month ago today and ordered the towing package. I paid up front in full. To date, no tow package and no response from Simpson despite several calls and a 1-1/2 visit yesterday in person. Parts manager was no help. I'm asking for my deposit to be returned and will find a Chevy dealer that will take care of its customers.
There was a complete misunderstanding. I apologize to Simpson Chevy. Randy did an excellent job in mending fences and I am completely satisfied.
