Shrimp shack is okay. We stumbled upon the restaurant while strolling through Seaside. We ordered 2 very expensive lobster rolls. The food came out relatively quickly, and was just "okay", nothing special (not worth the price in my opinion). The best part of the restaurant was the views of the beach if you sit outside.

Visited twice while in town. Great food and friendly service both times!

Has had many names and owners over the years, but still a great place for a quick bite right on the beach. I especially enjoyed eating on the screened in back porch. Fresh sea air and breeze a timeless classic.

Had the oysters and a lobster roll. The oysters tasted fresh. The lobster was overcooked and meat was a bit dry and tough. The staff was very nice. Nothing spectacular but it works for a quick meal.

Agreed. Run from this place. Waste of money. Th grocery store has much better food than the restaurants at Seaside. Been coming to Seaside for years and the quality of food has taken a nosedive. Save your money at Publix and grill out. This is what you get for the lobster roll at Shrimp shack. While it appears it be a lot of lobster meat, it's basically a hot dog bun soaked in butter with a piece of lettuce. So sad. Will not be a return customer and I hope others heed this advice. If Linda Miller, still runs these joints, you have a lot of work to do.

Love it - it's right next door to where we stay when we head to the panhandle. So glad we have some really good food close to us. Nice big area overlooking the beach - makes waiting a pleasure.

This place is terrible. The lobster was over cooked and the worse lobster roll I have ever had. Friend got ham and cheese sandwich said was good but you pay $15 for a ham and cheese sandwich that you could make at home! DO NOT EAT HERE!!

Put away your money as you walk near this place. Run, don't walk away. The lobster roll that my wife and I thought we would treat ourselves to was the most disappointing thing I can recall in years. The roll wasn't a roll. It was a small 10 cent hot dog bun. The lobster bits we received were less than a fraction of those shown in the picture above. Maybe, and I say maybe, a quarter of the amount. The lobster had little taste. Very bland. All for the price of $23 plus. The workers weren't even embarrassed when I told them that they should spend the extra 23 cents a roll and use Winn Dixie 3 for a dollar rolls. Oh, and I don't even recall seeing a piece of lettuce in the basket.
