Great Breakfast Buffet:. We love the large variety of food choices including fruits and salad. Of the many times we have eaten the breakfast buffet we have always enjoyed the food.

I love the Breakfast Buffet. The prices are affordable. You can even use coupons that the send weekly in the mail.

This Shoney's is a disgrace to the franchise name. The food was Horrible! The baked potatoes tasted like pure dirt. The Saturday night "special" steak and fried Catfish, turned into left over baked Chicken from lunch because they ran out of Steak before the dinner service began. The waitress that was our server was polite but annoying. The floors were dirty, the other waitresses hurried to retrieve their tips from the tables, while leaving the filthy tables un bussed the entire time we were there. The best thing this owner can do is close the doors.

Server was about as piss poor as they come. She was rude, she immediately just treated me and my family like we kicked her dog or something. She had an attitude. The food was gross. There was nothing on the buffet when it was offered to us so we ordered off the menu. Everything that we ordered was awful. The best thing was the bowl of fruit brought to my daughter. I absolutely don't recommend the chicken strips and onion rings unless you just like the flavor of flour. And my wife's salmon plate looked and tasted like the salmon was smothered in the honey sauce. Her mixed vegetables looked and tasted like it was the bottom of the bag that had sat in a cooler for days. And last time I checked salmon is pink not Brown. They advertised fresh but it had was clearly frozen and thawed out.

All the food was great and the waiters were very kind and takes care of their tables. I believe you're love them. So if you will check them out when ever you're in Dothan Alabama.

Strongly feel if there was a completely new staff, then this place would be 5 stars!
I called in to place a to-go order and the girl who took my order seemed extremely distant and a little unsure of what her position even was.
Then I arrive to pick up my food, the staff was spread out in the front talking to each other. Someone who had just finished eating jokingly slipped on a puddle of water and yelled "oops I slipped on this puddle of water, and my back is broken!" Management heard the man and called after the employees to clean it up, I will also add that throughout watching her, she didn't know any of her employees names!
Finally my food arrives to the front and I notice the girl who took my order was the one who fixed my to go plate. The manager showed me my food, and it was wrong. She told the girl that she got the wrong sides and the girl just seemed like she didn't care and that couldn't tell the difference between lima beans and green beans.
The food was good! I was very surprised after seeing how poorly put together the entire staff was. I will definitely eat here again, but I strongly encourage that corporate take a look at your employees.response / report this review -

Great breakfast bar, and great atmosphere! The servers are always friendly, courteous, and eager to please. They usually have anything on the bar that you could possibly want for breakfast, but if you want something you don't see, the staff is pretty good about helping you out. Our waitress this morning was amazing. She was quick, efficient, and made sure the drinks stayed pretty much full; which is a feat with my other half at the table. 5/5 will come back again.

Great food! Great service! Samantha, my server, was fantastic. She was very attentive even as busy as she was with the large party she was serving. She's very cheerful and upbeat all the time. I will be requesting her as my server every time I eat at this Shoney's.

The food was good but the service was slow and not very attentive. There were just a few people in the place so I could not understand why. Had the buffet and it had seafood on it. Real good food.
