I love the apartments and the leasing staff! I can’t complain about anything!!! I would definitely advise anyone who is looking for a place to live to consider moving to Shelby Heights!
Great location, great price, friendly office staff, apartments are very well maintained.
Ive never lived here but the suffocating amount of listings for this place on craigslist is driving me crazy. An apartment complex that has to advertise that much on another website is never a good sign. Its making my search for a place that I can actually live at very difficult. For every legit listing theres atleast 10 listings for Shelby Heights. I cant even “x” out of some of them because they make the titles so long on the listing lol. Please find another way to advertise your complex. I know its a first world problem for me to complain about this but my goodness.
Great place, perfect location. Regina and Chris are very professional and helpful! I would HIGHLY recommend Shelby Heights to all my friends.
DO NOT MOVE IN if you want a peasant living environment. On the surface Ahelby Heights looks wonderful. After all, it is next to Steels Creek. This creek was used as a dump in the past and was made into a lake. It's water drains past the apartments and not only just smells like sewage, but also, had a sewer line bust under it. The apartments are far below par. The walls have massive cracks down them that appear to be caused by foundation problems, you can see many poorly done hole-in-the-wall cover ups and most appliances and hardware leak and/or are broken as well as being prehistoric and possibly older than the complex itself. The Land Lord is an exceedingly rude and miserable lady. This apartment complex discriminates, not only in social and public relation skills, but also including how much you will pay for month. The floors are VERY squeaky and you can hear your neighbors way too well through the walls. There have been multiple domestic disputes (Including a man getting shot) and law enforcement often appears to attend to the slew of problems that constantly flood Shelby Heights. The Land Lord's attitude and demeaned was almost enough, alone, for us to leave. With everything else piled onto this miserable living situation , we will be lucky to get out without being messed over in one form or another. DO NOT MOVE HERE
Very over priced. Will kick you out of your lease with little notice and nowhere to go. Won't answer questions as to why you aren't able to continue your lease. Rude management.
Good place to live
