Love this campground. Have been coming here for years. The owners are awesome and very accommodating. Sites are a nice size. It's peaceful being right in the river, waking up to eagle fly overs is a bonus. They have a livery service, so if you want to kayak it's perfect. Paddle your way right back to camp! Thank You Scott & Cheryl Matson for always being so wonderful to all your campers!

booked 2 campsites on the river and was instead given 2 campsites with no privacy between a couple of rvs by the office. Only good thing was the tubing. I'm glad we only stayed one night.

We rented cabin #1. We've stayed here 2 times and the reason we come back is the rustic feel of this place and the owners and their son really seem to care about their guests and their campground. Our cabin wasvery clean for its age and it comes with everything you would have at home. The beds were also comfy.

I don't want to give a bad review as maybe I just didn't know what we were getting into so I'll just describe my experience. It might be a great place for you though.
First off there were maybe 10-15 sites right on the river. They were really close to each other but still terrific.
I personally wouldn't want to camp anywhere else in the campground though. There were lots of trailers and "cabins" that you can tell people live at. Lots of clutter and junk around these sites.
Second I wouldn't consider this a family campground or a campground to go to if you want peace and quiet. It seemed like an up north spring break location. There were probably 5-6 different big groups of mid twenty to early thirty high school reunion union groups. We had issues with people being extremely intoxicated and noisy until at least 3 in the morning. We had someone throwing up outside of our tent and even trying to get into our tent as they were too drunk to know where they were.
We did camp on the weekend soaybe mid week would be quieter.
I don't want to discourage anyone from going but those are my thoughts on the campground. If you have a group of friends you want to get together and patry with this campground might be right up your alley.
I personally won't ever go back.
