Neighborhood has really cleaned up since when I was younger, swimming in the public pool. The early 90's, I had my sandles and shirt stolen and I took the bus home, no shoes no shirt.

Lots of area to play on grass and the pool is nice. Play area old and under construction.

Basic playgrounds for kids. A covered area for large groups to rent. Soccer tennis courts and base ball field. There is also an outdoor pool and restrooms

I have been coming to this park for decades. They keep it real clean. The homeless people here speak mainly to themselves and wont bother you too much. They are great builders and if you visit you will see some amazing structures they've built from garbage! Very crafty. On one occasion, while watching my son play baseball, I was able to witness 2 tweekers go into the restroom together with a back pack and come out 15 minutes later. They were high as our taxes! Good times :)
