  Though it is badly in need of a design update, the food at Sewickley Speakeasy is consistently very good. Most of the servers have been there for quite a while and know the menu well. The fixed-price menu is an excellent value and includes an appetizer (you do not get to choose your own), soup, salad, dinner and dessert. Three menu favorites are the oysters Rockefeller, chicken parmesan and fried cheesecake.

  I always love coming here. Such a beautiful old house and lovely ambiance. The food is 99% of the time spot on with only one easily rectifiable mishap.

  If it weren't for my friend taking me here I would have never noted this place. The food was incredible and I have to come back.

  High prices high quality.
  Prices were high. Almost gave up and just got an appetizer, but reluctantly got a chef special. For $20 we got app, salad, soup, meal, and dessert.
  Burger not very flavorful. Cheesecake was partially frozen.
  I would still return though.

  Our meal was excellent. Service was very friendly, attentive yet relaxed. Very enjoyable evening. Nice change of pace from the noise, hustle and busle of many of the big chain restaurants.

  We had reservations for this restaurant and I'm not sure what some of the other reviews are about. We had:
  1. Spectacular and friendly service
  2. Timely deliverance of food and drinks
  3. Tasty, flavorful food
  4. The best steak I ever had
  5. The atmosphere that dimmed as the night came on spoke "Speakeasy" to me.
  
  In short, we're going there soon for our anniversary.
