Seviche uses A and B wait staff. Our A server was pushy and impatient, however, the B staff was great.

In some cases, like this review, I base my rating on whether or not I could produce better food at home I could. I had the skirt steak with chimichuri which is something I've made at home for the family. What I've made at home was much more flavorful and tender and at 40 bucks there was absolutely no value. I use the sous vide method to make my steaks so perhaps this is why I get better results.

Will not return and will not recommend.

5/5 food, 5/5 ambiance, 3/5 service, 4/5 price

Very delicious food, and I think the best place for Latin food in Louisville. The price is high, but almost always worth it. The atmosphere can't be beat for a nice evening, and the staff are friendly. The service time could use a large improvement, however, as I usually end up waiting 15-30 minutes between being seated at a table and placing an order.

Despite this, I will certainly come again because the food is absolutely worth it.

The BEST the BEST the BEST!!!! I LOVE this place. They go above and beyond to make sure that your meal is awesome. The staff is very nice, the ambiance is lovely, and the food is sooo good. My date is a extremely picky eater, and they made a dinner for him that wasn't even on the menu. He loved it!! I had wine that I had never had and it was delicious!! The food, staff and ambiance get my FIVE STARS!!!!

One of my top five favorite restaurants in the world. I make a point to stop here every time I pass through Louisville. The food is fabulous. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knows when they're needed. Whether you're in the mood for seafood or a Latin skirt steak, you will be pleased with this place.

My husband and I went were for the first time and were very impressed. It seems like it would be hard to have a bad meal here! His duck and my lamb were expertly cooked. I loved the cauliflower side dish! They gave us complimentary cotton candy for dessert.

Too expensive for the amount of food you get IMHO. While the quality is there, portion is not in line with what is charged. I ordered a seviche that came with tortilla chips the size of quarters (literally). Small pieces of crab meat and some drawing on a plate that costs around $18. I know it's the hipster thing to be for presentation over substance, so I guess I'm not hip. I also got the impression that anyone just ordering drinks at the bar or a dessert that do not run up a $100 tab very often, are not perceived favorably after a while. Overall I feel like this is more of a place to be seen & be pretentious than to enjoy food. Chef Lamas seems like a nice guy, the concept just doesn't work for me personally. Being expensive can be OK if I get what I pay for. If I leave hungry, that never works.

I love Jack Fryes and am a repeat customer. My favorite is the warm Brie salad. You can't go wrong. The atmosphere is very like something from years ago. Great food and attentive service. Parking can be an issue with only limited spaces in the lot.
