Willow trees line the edge of the lake within the park. We were happily surprised to see 6 snow geese here, having spent the whole summer here. There is a lovely park for children, including a water feature in summer.

We visited the Geneva area in mid-August and loved it. Was it perfect? No? I don't expect perfection. I do expect effort, and I saw workers early in the morning at the state park, cleaning bathrooms (and they were immaculate at that time. What happens when patrons soil the place afterwards cannot be blamed on the workers), manicuring lawns, emptying garbage cans, etc. This is a city/state park and it is well visited. Ever been to NYCs Central Park? There's trash, people, dirty bathrooms, etc. If you want perfection in life, you're going to be miserable. We enjoyed the lakefront, the concessions, the wine, the people, the pizza (and we're Long Islanders), even the Chinese food. Perhaps those who found so much fault with the area should opt to visit the Spam museum in Wisconsin, or some such place. We loved it. It is a gem.

Great splash pad for kids. But a bit odd that they shut down for 20 minutes after every hour. With no swimmimg allowed at the the beach it put a damper on our visit. Nice playgrounds.

You cannot beat the deal here! So many things to do for less than $10! Kids loved the spray park and the playground!! Large, spacious and fun! I enjoyed having a shaded area for us to put our stuff and eat lunch so close by. The biggest disappointment was the bathrooms/changing rooms. I'm not sure how often they clean thembut they should do it more than every two years. We'll be changing in the car next time.
Overall, we loved it and will definitely be returning soon!

Great park for a walk. Pretty small but offers great views. Seems to be pretty popular with the kite boarders and wind surfers. Cool spot.

Unable to forget the Seneca Lake after you visit, the white cloud, the blue sky, the quiet water surface, the hotel - Ramada Geneva Lakefront.

Beautiful, newly renovated park that runs along the northern edge of the lake. Perfect for walking, running, picnics, etc.

Beautiful views of Seneca Lake are the main attraction at this park. There are several modern playgrounds and a spray park that's sure to entertain children. It's a fairly flat park ideal for walking or biking, although the lake road is past due for a resurfacing.

Seneca Lake State Park is one of the many start parks throughout New York. It is very easy to use the website to for a virtual tour of the campsites and to reserve your site as well.

This was one of the first state parks that I tried camping at and instantly fell in love with camping in Western New York. Our campsite was very clean and had a picnic table and fire pit with it. The facilities include clean and hot showers and areas to wash your cooking supplies. Depending on which site you choose, the lake is as close as a 5 minute walk or as far as a 20 minute walk.

Seneca Lake also has many wineries along both sides of the lake. Nothing beats going to a couple wineries, and coming back to relax while you enjoy the wines from the day.

Definitely worth coming to spend a nice relaxing weekend away from it all.

I visit this park almost daily. Huge trees perfect for climbing, miles of lakefront for walking, running, or bike riding, swimming, playgrounds, grills, picnic benches. It's just perfect and beautiful. At one end of the park is the Ramada Hotel which hosts live music open to the public every Friday, and at the other is the marina with kayaks to rent. A must see when visiting Geneva or Waterloo.
