My experience was amazing!!!! Frank my salesperson was helpful, thoughtful and honest. Frank was able to put me in a SUV that I really wanted within a price range I could afford! I absolutely love my new Jeep Compass! If you need a new car or truck I would definitely recommend you visit this dealership and ask for Frank Andrade in Sales and Tom Dunn in finance both are amazing! This dealership has so much inventory You would not believe it! I drove almost 2 1/2 hours and it was well worth it. Thank you Security Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram you made my experience so great
Security is truly the best dealership on the island, from the service department, to their sales department, every single person that works there is so helpful and accommodating. I went to the dealership on 02/15/2022 for an oil change on the express lane, not knowing that they recently changed their hours. Michele, the advisor in the service department made me aware of the recent changes but I had gotten there right when they were closing and she said they weren't taking anymore appointments. I explained to her that I drove an hour to the dealership and really needed the oil change. She did her magic and was able to fit me in as the last customer of the day and the oil change was done super fast! I thanked Michele probably 20 times and told her she truly was the best. I highly recommend Security for all car needs, they are one of a kind!
Historically, the quick lube/oil change department is thorough and friendly.
Recently, I’ve had some oil leaks. I worked with Tom and Josh. Exceptional service was provided and Tom followed through with his word. It is frustrating when you experience car issues but patience and working with Tom and Josh made it way less painful! Thank you for the exceptional service! I’m confident in the service departments new management so I’ve updated my review to 5 stars!!
I had a wonderful experience with Security Dodge. From the moment I stepped into the showroom I was greeted with a smile and staff at the ready to help when you needed it. Tom Sweeney was very helpful in getting me in the car I wanted for a price I could manage. He was honest and upfront about everything and gave me the peace of mind I needed. The entire process was seamless and worry free. Even in the following days Tom did an amazing job following up with me and making sure everything went well. Ive been to many other dealers but would only recommend Security.
My salesman Blake was very knowledgeable and made what is usually a difficult experience quit pleasant. He checked on me throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied and happy and answered any questions I had. Blake helped me set up all the programming in my new Jeep, connected my phone and even reminded me to move over my current Sirius XM account so I could take advantage of the free 6mo given to me with my new vehicle and extended my current membership. He went above and beyond. We will definitely use Blake when my boyfriends lease come due in a few months!
My bad experience unfortunately is not all security dodges fault but Chryslers headquarters directly. My car has been there seven times since I purchased it. All of which they (Chrysler) keep stating it’s the radio not electrical since they can replicate what happens to me with the vehicle, despite me having it in pictures and on video. I have had 5 new radios in the course of two years owning my vehicle. I have contacted them to escalate to a manager and each time no call back from Chrysler. Security attempted to put a new module which killed the car completely, clearly Chrysler is missing something. I spend more time in a loaner than my own vehicle. I’m a Very unhappy customer and never wanted to put a bad review but enough already. It can’t be that you have given me five bad radios. What are the chances of that. What does that have to do with my vehicle taking five times of shutting off before starting as well as all the other issues. I gave 2 stars because despite everything I appreciate Will in service trying his best.
Alise was great, Made a stressful ordeal a more comfortable one. Because we were in a rush, to speed up the process she found a power drill and changed out the license plate herself. She was very accommodating to our needs. I would definitely return to her or recommend others to go to her if they were looking for a JEEP.
I've been researching vehicles for a few months. Decided to visit this dealership. Probably one of the quickest interactions I've ever had. I have 3 months left of my jeep lease and was looking for something larger. Salesman couldn't tell me why the 2013 silver durango crew v8 was priced 5k less then the 2013 navy crew v6. Also informed me the cheaper model had a 1k "internet pricing fee".
" We are trying to sell cars here," the salesman told me.
I understand that. But deciding not to go over my options and just giving me prices doesn't seem like a good business practice. I'm also in sales and understand the need to make a sale but help me understand a little please! I was at this dealership all of 8 minutes with no information besides a flat price and nothing else. The salesman tried to sit someone down at the end of the showroom and they chose to sit two tables from me. He then stood there told me the price again and stood there. I felt rushed and unimportant.
Nice looking car though!
Highly recommend the service department. I recently purchased a 2016 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk. The service engine light came on while I was driving & the car felt funny. This dealership was closest to me when it happened, so I came in without an appointment. I spoke with Thomas. He was very courteous & professional, managed my expectations well and followed through on everything he said he would do.
This was my first Jeep purchase & I did not have a good experience with the service department at the dealership I bought it from. It's very comforting to know that there is a great service department nearby. I will be taking my Renegade here for all future service.
What a great experience we had, our son Steven leased a 2017 Jeep Wrangler 4X4 from Security Dodge. From the moment we walked in and were greeted by the receptionist, to spending time with Sonny, the General Manager. We were grateful Vito walked us through all the finance options, buying versus leasing , different monthly payments based on amount of money we put down , etc he answered every question we had since this was our very first lease. Danny took care of all the details in regards to getting the insurance set up, making sure the car was prepared and ready for us to drive away that night. I didn't catch his name but a nice young fella went through all the options in the jeep with my son such as blue tooth, soft top, hard top removal etc.. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and when the time comes and a family or friend mentions they need a car I would not hesitate to send them to Sonny and his amazing team at Security Dodge.
Great service from everyone, especially Gabriella! Would recommend this dealership to anyone on Long Island looking for a great new or used car. Awesome experience.
Have been to multiple dealerships in the last few weeks. As always, anticipating the same BS if not more from the last visit. I have been looking around for dealerships to work with my firm and set budget and opt out an early lease of a Durango R/T into a new and more financially stable Jeep Wrangler. Had my mind set fair and firm on a Jeep Wrangler unlimited. With this being said every other dealership including those that claim full customer service and loyalty couldn't even add up to the service and commitment Security dodge put in. I will be honest in did take a good amount of time in negotiating and working out the numbers right and a close call divorce. But in the end with all at security ( John, Raja, and Elvis ) made the process smooth and efficient where myself and my family are satisfied and thankful for the hard work and dedication. Car is great, kids love it, and is wife approved. THANK YOU security for the humble service and amazing customer service commitment.
Security Jeep is a fantastic dealership. It is a very professional yet friendly atmosphere. David Garcia was extremely helpful in the process of buying not one, but two new vehicles. I am extremely happy with my new Renegade and my mother feels the same way for her new Wrangler. I've wanted a Jeep since I was a little kid and David helped my dream come true! Couldn't be happier!!
They should just close down this dealership!!!!! Still getting a bill from my lease end for over mileage, a worn out tire and a disposition fee!!!! I went to security explaining that I need this all put into the next deal and was told over an over again that it was all covered and received a $1,329.46 bill a month after I took the car home. When I called security they said they have nothing to do with the car that I traded in. DON'T GO HERE!!!! To reply to there response, I was ok with the deal before I received the bill and found out they didn't have that in my deal. Bottom line, they lie to you to get the deal
Turns out that my deal had nothing included with my previous Jeep other than the remaining payments. I put $4,500 upfront and was told that nothing was down and it was all from PREVIOUS CAR, TAXES, FEES FIRST MONTH PAYMENT, ETC.., which was still high to me, but after 5 hours of waiting with my kids, I signed and reviewed later that night. MY MISTAKE, SO PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID and GO ANYWHERE ELSE. The previous jeep financing company sent me a bill for $1,300. $400 for something called a disposition fee, which is usually covered by the dealer; the finance company even stated this to me, which was really bothersome. Then extra miles, and what they called damage. Two worn down tires, and I had a car seat on the back seat that left an imprint. Security couldn't even clean that before turning in the car really. Extra miles, was the main reason I went to trade in the car early, because I wanted to build everything into the new deal, not to lease a new car and have a $1,300 bill after investing $4,500 upfront on taxes, fees and what I thought was the previous Jeep. I understand dealership mentality and sales, but what I don't understand is when your sales person is saying yes we took care of the jeep and miles are covered, etc.. to having none of this taken care of and finding out weeks later is just bad business. Now this is either no communication with the sales and finance team or just lie and get you to leave because the buyer has no protection once they leave the lot. If you don't want to get lied to and don't want to waste your entire day, stay the hell away from Security Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram.
My experience here was neither terrible or fantastic. It was the last Saturday of the month and the place was a zoo. I was unsure of what exactly I wanted and I got the feeling the salesman was picking up on that. It felt like he didn't want to waste his time with me while there was a lobby full of people he might have had a better chance of selling a car to. Whatever man, I get it, time is money but this was clearly coming through in his demeanor, and it was making me uncomfortable. I thanked him for his time and he didn't even bother to ask for my contact info, as is custom with these places. Plenty of Jeep dealers on the Island that will take my money, not going back.
I went there to purchase a new 2016 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack Shaker. I was greeted promptly, and they were very friendly. They were very patient and knowledgeable as they showed me the very car that I was interested in. We worked out a price, and they were more than fair on my trade. My salesman, Jason Waters, was a pleasure to work with as he explained every step of the procedure that allowed me to drive my new Challenger home that same night. Because of a recurring snag with my insurance company (Allstate's fault, not Security Dodge's), they even kept the store open an extra hour to accommodate me. Mike, in the finance department, was very professional and he really stepped up to the plate to get me great financing with a rate and term that worked out great for me. I am very happy with my purchase and the experience I had with Security Dodge. I would highly recommend this dealership and their products too.
Security Dodge come highly recommended from a friend. They lived up to all of my expectations and then some. Both Jonathan and Corey were friendly and helpful making this a great buying experience
Then I sat down with Howard to do the financing and he was great. If you are in the market for a new or certified pre owned car Security Dodge should be your first and last stop.
From the moment I entered Security DCJR I was met with friendly smiles, handshakes, and the assurance of their ability to get me into a vehicle I wanted. Their welcoming gestures leave you feeling like a part of their Jeep family. JJ, Sunny, Mike, and everyone on staff were not only professional but just friendly, conversational, and seemed to care about what you had to say. Such a busy dealership and now I know why. My salesman Mike went above and beyond and I will recommend family, friends, and coworkers to buy, lease, and service their vehicles here. I'll also mention that this place is kept immaculate on the inside which is not an easy task with the amount of traffic in and out.
Our first point of contact was Gabriella who responded to an inquiry E-mail with a phone call in less than 5 minutes of sending it. We had gone in the next day and met with Sonny and Junior who were both very professional and very helpful. We had traded in a car and walked out with a new Jeep wrangler. We had done avid research on this particular model and found that their prices were reasonable for what they had to offer. Junior walked us through each and every step of the process and very personable and honest. If you are looking to buy from security, ask to work with him. Mike Larocca in finance was honest and answered all questions we had. Once all paper work was said and done Mel from service gave us a demo of the car and answered every thing. We had been to a handful of dealerships over the past two months looking for something specific- both in the car and the sales people- and we found what we wanted here at security.
Updated review since the purchase of my vehicle. I would give zero stars but unfortunately that's not an option.
I traded in my Hyundai for a used Jeep at Security Dodge in October. I had $2500 left on my old car loan. As with any trade in scenario, I was told that my existing loan would be paid off in full. Some time after I took possession of my Jeep I was notified by the bank holding the loan on my previous car that I was delinquent on my monthly payment. I also received a letter from the bank holding my new loan stating that they received 6 months of payment toward the new loan. It was obvious that the accounting department at the dealership sent the payment to the wrong bank. I assumed a phone call would resolve the problem. Surely the dealership would understand that my credit was being effected by their obvious and extremely negligent error. I called and explained the situation to Nathalie who assured me the problem would be looked into and resolved immediately. After a month and a half of phone tag and various conversations with her, she stopped returning my phone calls. I was left no other option but taking time out of my busy schedule to go down to the dealership. I spoke with the used car manager Anthony, who again gave me every assurance that the error was theirs and the problem would be handled within the week. Again, empty promises to fix this egregious error. It has now been three weeks since speaking with Anthony and nothing has been done to remedy this situation. I am in the position now where I feel as if my only recourse is to obtain legal council and start paying my previous car loan to avoid any further damage of my credit. I will never do business with Security Dodge again. Their behavior has been nothing short of fraud in my estimation. I strongly dissuade anyone from giving them their business. There are many other dealerships on Long Island that hold themselves to much higher standards of business. The fact of the matter is once the sale was made these people stopped having any sort of decency or interest in doing right by me, their customer. These people really encourage the term "sleazy car salesmen
