Me and my family went down there for the private tour on Thursday and it was great. Love this place so much and we'll come back to it again and again. I will have to try their cabin rental next time.
Amazing Experience! I chaperoned a Biology field-trip with my son and this was the most amazing educational experience I have ever been apart of! The guides were very knowledgeable and the owner is on site for any questions you may have. I had so much fun that I asked the teacher if I could chaperone next year!
My husband and I had the opportunity to visit this amazing sanctuary and interact with three different packs, including one with 4 pups, 2 babysitters, and the alpha male and female. The focus on education, conservation, and advocacy was prevalent as was the tremendous amount of love, respect, and caring the staff showed for these intelligent, sensitive, and magnificent creatures! The time inside the enclosures being nudged, nibbled, and examined by the pups, rubbing the bellies, ears, and backs of these strong creatures, and observing their spontaneous social behaviors and "corrections" by the babysitters was invaluable. Thank you Seacrest Wolf Preserve for the work you do!!
What an amazing experience! The staff are very kind, passionate and well informed. The wolves are the most amazing animals I have ever been in contact with. The tour (roughly 5 hours for us) is spent almost entirely in the enclosures with the wolves running all around us just wanting attention. Would highly recommend to anyone with a love for animals, would definitely visit again!
The private VIP tour is worth it. Yes, it's pretty pricey, still 100% worth it. We were a group of four, and got plenty of time with the animals and definitely worth the time and money. I hope this organization is even more successful in the future of helping this key stone species.
We saw a posting for this place on facebook and decided to check it out. We were staying in Orlando and made the six hour trek north for a tour. We ended up doing a VIP tour and it was amazing. We didn't get to see the small animal enclosure s because of the hurricane that recently passed, but even without a whole exhibit it was still worth the price.
The staff was very knowledgeable and interactive. They told us the background of the preserve, as well as each wolf. It was really cool. We got to go in and interact and they younger wolves were all so much fun! They were so playful! The older ones took a little convincing to come and see us, but eventually they did.
It was such an amazing experience to get to see their interactions, to pet them, and to learn more about them. I know we will recommend this place to everyone and will try to come back if we ever get the chance!
We have a special needs daughter that has been obsessed with wolves since she was about 3 years old. She is 25 now and this place made all of her dreams come true. It was such a unique experience and we were honored to get to spend time with these wonderful animals. I work in the Veterinary field and I have to say that these are the happiest, well socialized, most fulfilled animals that I have ever encountered. I am not normally a fan of raising or using this type of animal for our entertainment, but they are being used to teach and educate. It's important work that these folks due and everyone should have this amazing experience and support their work! Great job Seacrest!
My family and I went this past Saturday. We were able to make my youngest daughters dream come true, we got to pet wolves. The staff was amazing, and they were all really passionate about the work that they do. I do not think there is another place in the world like this. They even made sure we all were in a photo together with their what they call their babies, and there was quite a crowd, but they knew it would mean so much to each of us.We learned a great deal and it an experience we will never forget. I would highly, highly, highly recommend this to any family or person
My husband and I had an amazing experience here! We did the VIP tour which in our opinion is well worth the money. We had two hours of us and the wolves! It was amazing. Just getting to be in with, petting them, seeing them up close, hear them howl was an amazing experience. We not only got to experience them but also learned a lot about wolves as well as this preserve. From what we saw they animals are well loved and taken care of. We got some amazing photos out of the tour as well! The only part I wish I had realized ahead of time is that for the VIP tour it is only with the wolves not the other small animals. If I had realized that I for sure would have asked if I could book a tour with the small animals too as I was looking forward to seeing them as well. Hopefully we will get a chance to come back again and see the smaller animals before we move out of Florida!
My family and I spent the day at Seacrest Wolf Preserve and came away with one amazing experience! The wolves were absolutely incredible and the staff truly cares for them. The most moving part was how the wolves loved our 6 year old daughter! They gravitated to her as if they realized she was a sweet child that they could love on and give kisses to. We also learned a great deal from the owner and staff and we can't wait to go back in the future. This is truly an amazing and special place!
Great experience with an awesome staff. The staff seemed very knowledgeable, helpful and willing to answer any questions. The wolves will come right up to you. The small animal experience was fantastic. There were skunks, artic foxes, gray fox, raccoons and a black fox. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5, was that there were too many people in the group. There was well over 200 people in our group. They tried their best to give us a good experience but there was too many people and it seems like some organization could have help out a lot.
I love Seacrest. I can't describe to you how amazing this place is! I've read some of the negative reviews, and the people that posted them obviously don't understand what Seacrest is all about. This isn't a "petting zoo" with animals in small paddocks, in cages, or behind glass walls. It is a not-for-profit wolf PRESERVE! Their purpose is not only about preservation of the species, but also education on how important wolves are to the ecosystem. (Google "How Wolves Change Rivers". Here's the YouTube link.)

The facility is largely run by volunteers who help maintain the acres of land where the wolves can roam free with their packs, build dens, enjoy the lake, etc. But the experience of being able to go INTO the enclosures with the wolves is totally unique. Sometimes they even come up to you so you can pet them, but of course there's no guarantee. (Hello, they are still wild animals.)
The reason the tours can actually take you in with the wolves is that they are socialized to humans when they are only days old before they even open their eyes. They are well taken care of and definitely loved by the staff. My daughter and I have been several times. Even though it is an hour-and-a-half drive, we love it every time we go! The volunteer staff does their best to ensure everyone who visits has an enjoyable experience.
If you get a chance, I highly recommend this place. But be aware, the tour-size continues to grow as more and more people learn about the great work Seacrest is doing for conservation and education. If you are looking for volunteer opportunities with your church, scout troop (please ask them about age restriction), or military squadron (or even individuals who just want to help!), Seacrest Wolf Preserve always welcomes volunteers with open arms! Please call in advance.
This is a great place to visit and learn about wolves. The staff was very helpful, curious, and the animals are well cared for. We did the VIP tour and we would highly recommend this if you really want an experience without too many people. Also go during off times such as non Holidays and weekends. March, April, May should be good times to visit. Remember this is FL and while it has a lot of shade it is still summer time might not be the best time time visit unless you are used to the heat while wearing jeans.
They are set up for camping either in tents or rv's with hook ups. Hot showers and nice bathrooms.
