Was a member here for a while and it does have a great selection of guns and the range is definitely clean. The downside is this place has gotten as uppity as it gets, they act so much better than everyone else, oh and it is expensive. Their FFL fees are also more expensive than a lot of the other gun clubs out there. Still a good place to rent and shoot a gun if you want.

Amazing selection of firearms. Great advantage of getting to shoot guns at the range to test them out. Hit or misson customer service, just depends who you get to talk with. Over all a good experience, will be back!

I've been to several shooting ranges in Texas but this was my first time in Arizona. I brought my daughter this morning for her first time ever shooting. (Note: I had already been teaching my daughter firearm safety prior to bringing her here and we were finally at the stage where she was ready to shoot for the first time). The staff at check-in were nice and the range officers were even better! They noticed my daughters nervousness and adrenaline. They came over and worked with her to help calm her nerves so she could relax. She's used to hearing me talk but hearing the range officers really helped her alot as well. They helped make it a fun experience for her. Craig and the other guy who's name I didn't get were amazing. We will definitely be going back here!

I recently moved to Scottsdale and was looking for a place to shoot that is close to home.
Not only for I find that in the Scottsdale Gun Club, but also a courteous and knowledgable staff that greets customers with a smile.
After a few visits I decided to become a member.
Since then I have purchased numerous items, used their gun smith service and frequent the range at least once a week .
Prices are what they are it's Scottsdale, folks! There are cheaper places but I don't feel like driving long distances to save a few bucks.
However, when it comes to larger purchases I will compare.

Don't see how this place can be any better unless priced dropped. Their prices are very competitive and their staff helpful and knowledgeable. We are from Canada and came on ladies night.my wife was extremely looking forward to shooting her 1st firearm but we are expecting and she is about 5 months pregnant so they wouldn't allow her to am to into the range which we thought was fine and a reasonable precaution. The range marshals were helpful and friendly and place was clean and busy but not over crowded. Would definitely recommend and would like to come back when we return to Scottsdale. They also had a very decent selection of firearms.

I am a member at this establishment and it is a clean, safe, facility with training opportunities, and they robust sales department. Items can be ordered if they are not found on the floor or in storage. The store also has a gunsmith on site.
While at the store, be aware of the location. Where is some things are very nicely priced, especially for members, others are more expensive by comparison.
There's a wide selection of firearms available to rent. This assists in purchase questions when you can simply go on to the range and rent a similar or the same firearm in order to help make your decision. They also rent automatic weapons and different interesting other firearms.
When renting a firearm you will need to purchase their ammunition. If you bring your own in mission for your own firearm at the range, then you will just need to make sure that you have range safe ammunition, ammunition that is not magnetic, stuff without a buy metal or steel core.
The store has available apparel, both tactical and more fun. The staff is generally knowledgeable and willing to work with you on determining what the best firearm for your needs might be.response / report this review -

The people that work here are the best. Very helpful. If they can't answer a question someone else is quick to just in and help out. The gun selection is great. The place is very clean and organized.

Really friendly staff and a great selection of equipment and firearms. I came in here for the first time from California and they helped me make my gun FREE again (from the awful laws in CA). They advised me on what other things to purchase for upgrades and were with me the entire time. I'll be back for sure!
Update: I came back in to grab some items and got the two guys names that were very helpful. Kent helped with my rifle, and Evan helped me spend lots of money on gun stuff I may or may not need haha. Thanks guys! Great customer service!response / report this review -

The cleanest gun range I've ever been to. A very large selection of products and rentals. I'm coming from philly and in Arizona you are able to shoot full auto. I rented the scar and scorpion. The staff was very professional and knowledgeable. Even if you aren't there to shoot they have a vast knowledge base to help you in any direction. I had a blast on their very modern range. Would recommend for anyone visiting in the area. Great experience.

Obviously it can be pricey but this facility is state of the art. They even host classes for self defense and permits. It's worth a shot ;)

I used to be a member here years ago, and my last visit was disappointing and I'm glad not to be a member now. Firearm selection is overpriced, but beautifully displayed and organized. People in the front of the store are helpful and friendly enough to try to make a sale, however the Range Officers are not professional at all and have an authority complex. Thus making the overall experience at the firing range highly negative and uncomfortable. For example, one Range Officer looked like a highschool kid who barely can grow facial hair, liked yelling at people like he was auditioning for a part in Full Metal Jacket, chewing gum and on the cellphone the entire time.

Great range, one of the few that allows holster draw once qualified through their instructors. Very well kept facility. I signed up for a membership and definition rely enjoy the stress free lane usage - which is unlimited for a member. Well worth it

I'm from Canada , I had a blast , for the most part. I'm reading all the comments and I don't know now if I was lucky or the service was actually good. Price seemed right for the ranges. And the instructor made sure I didn't kill myself. I thought the staff were cool for the most part. I'm going again before I go back home I'll see if the vibe changes.
