The resort was very peaceful and accommodating. The shuttle and cart service to the various dining locations and other amenities was much appreciated considering the resort is pretty spread out through the lovely desert setting.

My family had a wonderful thanksgiving holiday here. Plenty for the children to do and explore, food was great, and our casita was darling. Above all the staff was warm and patient. Thank you we will come back.

I went to the Boulders spa for the first time and my experience was great. I did an hour massage followed by an hour facial. The massage was very relaxing and facial was the best part. Jennifer did a pumpkin facial and it was perfect. She was well informed on each product, what it was good for and she wasn't pushy on buying the products.

Very nice place, but they lost my reservation (I scheduled one and a half months in advance.) even after calling a week before to ensure it was reserved. They did comp me lunch, but I ended up saying 3 hours longer for my spa service.

Very nice. Got a massage and a body wrap. Enjoyed the pool, sauna and steam room. Very relaxing and comfortable environment. Definitely recommend.

From the time we pulled up! And we are still here..SPA TIME!!!!💃I have to saySean I had the Safe and Rose Emotional detox treatment..and I have to say when he shook my hand and introduced him self the energy was immediate..he has a gift..he explained everything before and when he was providing the treatmentI was blown away by his knowing exactly what to do..I am coming. Back and I hope he is there..4th time there I love in California and if one for the turquoise wrap. My all time fav but you don't have that anymore even tho it's on the menu!😒 but Sean was meant to beKeep doing what you're doing Sean you have know idea how what you did helped me in my grief💙❤💛

Absolutely beautiful desert resort. Comfortable rooms with sophisticated southwestern style. The grounds and amenities are spread out a bit but there are carts and shuttles always available to drive you around. The spa facilities are wonderful.

I booked the Executive suite 2 months in advance. I picked this specific room for the details and decor in this room. I searched through several different hotels and resorts and chose this room, not the resort itself. I was told on Friday that I would be able to check in at 3pm. On Saturday we called while on our way and were told we could not check in until 4pm. When we got there, they told us the room was unavailable! They "upgraded us to a villa. The decor was not anything similar to what I had chosen. I had to cancel my plans for that evening because of this. There was no bathtub which I was expecting. The outlets in the main bathroom did not work. The cable did not work. The WiFi did not work. We had to drive half a mile to get to the pool! I paid way more than I have ever paid for a hotel room, expecting the Executive suite. I was highly disappointed. I was also informed when we got there that they would hold $150 from my bank account in addition to the $390 We had already paid for this room we hadn't chosen. I am told today that the money will not be returned to my account for at least another 2 days. That will be 5 days after we stayed. We need this money to pay bills today! I am extremely unhappy and will never stay there again. We were not compensated anything for all this trouble. I was extremely stressed out the entire stay, when this was supposed to be a relaxing birthday weekend.

I took my daughter for a massage which she enjoyed, and I signed the receipt for the massage charges and gratuity only to be charged $50 extra for a day pass for myself! I left the property and had specifically discussed the fact that I DID NOT WANT a day pass with the spa personnel. I have not received a refund! Be sure that you check your receipts and watch out for sneaky charges. Also, even though my daughter enjoyed her massage she did mention that the property seems run down and tired - cracks in walls chipped paint, stained walls and carpeting.

Amazing location and setting. Very friendly, anticipatory staff and a good spa facility. Standard rooms are spacious and inviting, but not overwhelming. Only thing keeping this from 5 stars are a couple details that seem to be rough around the edges, but nothing that would stop us from coming back here again.

Room 277. A/C doesn't work well. Various room items don't work. Room has been empty since 9:30 and still hasn't been serviced. Service at the bars is pretty slow. For the $, I would never spend my own $ staying here. Seriously over pricedAnd I've stayed in castles in Scotland and some of the best hotels in Mexico and the PNW, including Vancouver, Whistler, and Victoria.

Had a little "staycation" here. Staff was wonderful eager to please, room was nice and updated. Had incredible view from our room, and we had nice quiet romantic walk around the resort at night.

The Boulders is a very nice hotel. Everyone is friendly and anything you may need either is on hand or can be provided. Our air conditioning went out and the hotel was out of regular rooms, so they upgraded us to a villa. Great customer service.

The Boulders Resort & Spa is a wonderful spot to get away, relax and have fun. It is beautifully manicured and is a bright example of a vacation away from everything. The on-site restaurants have awesome menus that are incredibly delicious and satisfying. Recreation activities are top notch with rock climbing being one of my favorites. I found the spa services a little pricey, but being a male, it's not something I normally indulge in. However, the price of a general massage was not to my expectations. The staff was attentive, polite and very friendly. I did not play golf, but the beautiful courses seemed inviting and we'll maintained. It's worth staying here for a few days and soaking in the beauty of Carefree, AZ.
