Teaching quality unfortunately lags far behind that of the Bloomington installation of SoIC. Sadly, inexperienced adjuncts run the show, and generally do so with multiple spelling and grammatical errors. Advisors don't have degrees in technology, and have been known to miss appointments. Nonetheless, a degree from here will secure you a great job, IF you actually do the work laid out in the classes. Web development is taught well here (at least in the Informatics program---not the Media Arts program), but data analysis could really use more emphasis. I've had a one-on-one with the Dean before, and I'd suspect that a lot of the negligence displayed in this program has to do with his lack of care for students at the undergraduate level. I've also been ignored by my Department Chair, whose classes I now will not enroll in. Summarizing, it was a fantastic place to buy a degree from, as it pays off. The knowledge afforded by the institution---not so much. Many grads work help desk jobs, which is an atrocity.
