Small classes, caring professors and staffers. Amazing place to be if you need more time to figure out what you want to do.

I love it! I would highly recommend this school I have done campus and online classes and both were pretty good student wise. Walters State gives many opportunities for the student and community with classes, clubs, special events, speakers and tutoring etc. Clubs are also a great thing to be involved in with community service opportunities and to serve the community along with the school.

The federal govt gave me the max pell grant but i was informed after 3weeks that it was "pending review" appearently ws can say they wont accept it I had to borrow money so i could start school and 3weeks later no word i have to drop out to get the $back to borrower. The classes are all on elearn and not taught by instructers if i wanted to take online classes i would have signed up for them. If i dont recieve the check from pell grant by end of week i have no choice to drop out so. I can pay the person back. Borrower needs money they live on fixed income and cant afford to pay for school the govt already said they would. Not fair and not right. Not impressed w intro to computers he didnt know how to enlarge screen to accomadate my blind eye and trrated rudely cause i asked
