  Bad food. Poor service. Took so long I had to take my food to go. Arrived at 6:15pm left at 10 after my son was finally served. Waitress was rude.
  
  Had better food at Springfield Hospital. I would recommend Springfield Hospital if you had a choice.

  Old fashioned Vermont inn with a nice selection of honest hearty foods. Usually has a vegetarian option. They have nice rooms to stay in upstairs. A nice off the beaten path choice for a weekend getaway.

  Had a peaceful dinner here in September. They said they were transitioning to a new chef so the menu was limited. Food was pretty good. Building is charming in a quiet village.

  We ventured out to Bellows Falls, VT to attend a friend's wedding. While there, we stayed at a charming little place called the Saxtons River Inn. The beds were comfy and the claw foot tub was delightful. After unpacking, we had a couple of drinks at the pub that is just downstairs, then made our way to the dining room to enjoy a delicious meal that night. Sarah, the Innkeeper, was a big part of what made our stay so great. She was so helpful and hospitable and there to assist us with anything that we needed. We cannot wait to come back to the beautiful Vermont!

  Lovely Inn to Stay Or Dine close to Saxtons River, Vermont Academy, scenic byways.
  The Chef has a fine touch that has never disappointed with white glove service by Knowledgeable and attentive servers.
  Both Dining room and Bar have amply seating for your dinning experience. Excellent wi -fi from all areas on site.

  Had the Vermont burger and Switchback beer. The burger was delicious! We sat on the porch and the service was prompt and attentive.
