The thanksgiving brunch was wonderful! The food was fresh and delicious. Ballroom was beautifully decorated. The entire staff was super friendly, prompt and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful! Peaceful and interesting. Lots of Indian history of the area posted in the displays in the halls and lobby. Couldn't ask for a nicer staff. Rooms are CLEAN!

The resort was very easy to get to. The staff was extremely friendly. The food was outstanding. The rooms were clean and quaint. I would recommend this place to my friends.

Ok so we check in for a quiet night away. More then shocked to find out there is a dog show convention going on. And no where on the website is this mentioned. So much for peace !!!

Beautiful resort that has it all. Would give it five stars but the resort was built on an Indian burial ground. During the construction, they removed the tombstones but didn't remove the bodies, which caused an evil spirit to trap our daughter in another dimension. They offer free wifi, but they charge extra for paranormal investigators.

My family wanted to feel like we were on a beach vacation without the 9 or 10 hour drive. We made a great choice when staying at Sawmill Creek Resort. My husband golfed while my son and his friend swam at the private beach.. We even got to witness a wedding at the beach. We played basketball, rented bikes, swam at the lake and pool, and had a great meals at the restaurant. We only left the resort one day and that was so we could take the kids to Cedar Point. I would definitely stay there again.

Good service and good food and enjoyable entertainment. Ran out of the specials on a Saturday night, but we didn't order till 9pm. Several nice fish and steak selections. Prime rib was very good. Limited dessert menu, but a few goodies. Nice wine list for everyone. Overall very good and worth the trip.

We stayed here as a team for a soccer tournament and would definitely return. The resort is large and spread out so there are lots of fun things for the kids to do.
The pool area is great to hang out in groups with both an indoor and outdoor pool with plenty of seating. There are also tennis courts a volleyball net as well as a nice practice field with nets.
The staff were also pretty friendly.
I would give this place 4.5 stars if i could because the rooms are a bit dated but not enough to lose a full star.response / report this review -

Went to the mother's day brunch. It was very nice but for some reason was craving bacon and an omelet which were not available. The omelet I understand due to that days volume. Food was well made and everyone was professional. It was expensive for what it was, but had a good time.

So I acted like a total jerk and these people were so nice to me. I feel bad bk they went above and beyond and I was an ass. So I just want,to say thank you to Amy for helping and for maintenance for taking my nasty attitude. They fixed my issue with sweetness and consideration so I highly recommend this place. It is also beautiful with an indoor and outdoor pool. Beautiful landscaping.and great lights at Christmas.

We booked a hall for prom at the school my wife teaches at. The staff was extremely helpful with set-up and making sure the event started of smoothly. The food was good and everyone was served at the same time. We will definitely be using this establishment for our proms in the future.

Sawmill creek resort is an extravagant place to visit. They place is well maintained and looks absolutely gorgeous. Service is amazing. Employees like to home around with everyone and make the stay more enjoyable.

Easter brunch Buffet. Each year my family decided on a place for brunch. For at least the last 7 years we have been coming to Saw Mill Creek. We love the location. right after brunch you can walk on the lake side! The food is delicious. My favorite is the stuffed chicken! There is always an Easter bunny and caricature person there. The shop is allot of fun to browse.
