The rooms were wonderful. We stayed in the king suite, and it was an enormous room with a nice Jacuzzi. The staff was also very polite and the continental breakfast was amazing. Will be going there for my anniversary.

Nice older motel. Good price. Room was clean, but pretty small. Bed was comfortable. I'd stay again, especially for the price.

One of the worst hotel experiences ever. I was once of 5 hotel guests and the sensor said they had microwaves and a fridge. I called and the manager wanted to charge me $80 for using them. NO THANKS. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE! Rooms smell bad, door doesn't close well, key card works every 3rd try, pool is not kept up well. Teenagers are cleaning the rooms, it shows that they may not get paid well or don't like their jobs, they never seemed happy. Bath tubs don't hold water, shower only. Cable tv cuts out. I could go on save your money.

Howard Johnson inn is great. It's the kind of motel that you can take a hooker to for 3 days and main vein as much meth as you want and you'll feel very comfortable. It's not too dirty and the water is clear though so I say give it a chance!

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights and it was amazing. The owners are very nice and the service is just amazing. It's a central point for all the attractions and my kids love it! Worth the stay and 100% recommend this motel for everyone!

Our party of 2 really enjoyed our stay here, we were greeted with kindness at the front desk during check-in, and given our room keys. We stayed in a king suite, and before even taking our belongings to the room, we did a thorough check for anything out of the ordinary. After reading the reviews, I am certain most of these guests(who rated poorly) DID NOT stay at this location. Our room was clean, bathroom was clean as well as the tub. Upon checking the bed, we found NO traces of any unwarranted animals or insects. The decor is the usual you would expect, which I have no gripes about. Property was quiet at night, other than the faint noise of a train horn. We both slept soundly, and would easily stay here again.

Tldr; clean rooms, easy place to crash for a night

The hotel room was simple but clean. The location is perfect if you're visiting Cedar Point. I think they should have breakfast for longer hours though.

Definitely one of the better options when visiting Cedar Point. The service was great and the man at the front desk was very friendly. Room was clean. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is close to Cedar Point and works well for those visiting the park on a budget. The rooms themselves are clean and I had no major problems. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. There was no protein at the buffet while I was there. If you don't mind cereal and a muffin, it's fine. I enjoyed my stay but I did not have high expectations.

Staff was wonderful and accommodating. Yes the place is a little old, but it was clean and had enough room for all of us. Some of the outlets in our room did not work but we made due. We just needed an affordable place to sleep after a long day at Cedar Point and this was perfect. Ice machines came in handy for refilling our cooler. They let us use the pool longer than it was intended to be open which made my son VERY happy. Room was very warm though took a long time to cool off.

Let me just say this place is awful and will never go back. Floors so dirty that the bottoms of your feet were black in minutes. The rooms smelled bad too.

Well finally got laid down to get rested up for day at cedar point. I woke up around three in the morning. My mom had also woke and come out of bathroom yelling. She had bite marks on her arms and back. Look on the bed and it was bed bugs! They moved us to another room, but it was so nerve wrecking to try and get any rest. I have pictures to prove it. Never will stay at that dump again.
