This was my first visit. Just happend to stop by for take out and ended up eating in. The hostess, who was also our server was very friendly and helpful. I wish I'd gotten her name because she was awesome! The food was amazing!!! Spring rolls with sweet and sour sauce were delicious! My husband and I both got Pad Thai and it was great! She warned us about the spice so we both got a 1 and it definitely had some heat but it was a good burn. The portion looked small at first but it seemed to grow, lol. We were both stuffed and very very happy. Prices are reasonable, service was fantastic and we will definitely be back!!

The food was great. It was so fresh and tasty. I loved it. I had to grab one of the crab rangoon before I took the pic because it looked so good. The Pad Kee Mao was very good. I got a level 3 spicy and it was perfect for me but o love spicy food. I would recommend others that like spicy food to only get a level 2 spicy. You must check it out!!

We've eaten here before and the food is good, but don't count on calling to place a carry out order. Called 3 times and it went straight to a voicemail that hadn't been set up and when someone finally did answer I was on hold (with the phone just sitting on the counter as I could hear the casual conversation of the employees) for more than 7 minutes and no one ever took my order. Disappointing, and this isn't the first time this has happened.

I had red curry chicken level 2, no flavor except spicy, mostly bamboo shoots and carrots, very little chicken and other vegetable. Tried a California roll, too much rice on the roll, seemed pretty amateur. Service was friendly and attentive though. Definitely not the complex flavor you expect from Thai food. I won't be returning.

Love the food! I eat here once a week. Service is slow and be mindful of the spice levels. The food will be much spicier than anticipated. A level 1 here is the equivalent of a 3/4 somewhere else.

So I got the "Fresh Garlic" stir fry, they must have ran out of celery because I got mushy lettuce in my meal, I found ONE slice of mushroom, it tasted like the food was mixed with brown gravy sauce instead of the black bean sauce it was supposed to come with. The egg rolls and spring rolls I ordered was burnt, not to mention how my partners food was missing half the items. Very disappointed and by far the worst food I have ordered to go

Great lunch spot. Do not let the strip mall location fool you. Enjoyed it much more than expected. Not your cookie cutter Thai/Asian food. The flavors and spices used were superior. Fresh rolls were a fun light warm up. The Dynamite roll was spicy. Pad Thai was awesome and fresh. The Pineapple fried rice was a fun suprise as it had an Indian flare and taste also. Recommended for sure.

They don't lie to you with their spice levels. Be ballsy at your own risk.

Best balanced Pad Thai I've had since before I can remember. Can't recommend this place enough.

Great place for spicy food lovers. The food quality and flavor profiles far exceeds it's humble location. Order early because some dishes take longer to prepare - but worth the wait. I suggest trying the Pad Thai or the Singapore noodles. Enjoy!

If there was a negative rating they would get that today. Waited over an hour for food during lunch break from work, which had to be packed up to-go and still charged full price. And rude staff to top it off.

The room is open and clean, with a bright green splash of paint. The server was clearly knowledgeable and even helped write the menu! The portions were comfortable and full of high quality ingredients. They even make their own sauces for dipping. These sauces are so good that they are bottled for sale at the restaurant and Jungle Jim's. We will be going back to Sawasdee Thai whenever we are going to the Springdale 18 movie theater on a date, or on any of our trips to Jungle Jim's. East siders, make the few minute drive. It's worth it!

Service was prompt and friendly. They know their regulars here, which gave me high hopes. Food came out quickly. Our server even offered to bring our daughter's meal with our apps so she wouldn't have to wait. Just wasn't very impressed with the food. It was good, but not great. The biggest factor was the prices. Food was too expensive. I paid double digits for a noodle dish, which seems high to me. You can customize your heat level, which is great. I can tolerate heat, but my dish was more spicy than I expected. Again, ok experience.

2nd time ordering carryout on 3/18/17. The first time my friend and I thought the food was hot (spicy) but attributed it to probably ordering the spice level at 2 or 3. This time I placed the order and asked for everything to be at a level 1 for spice. Although the food was tasty - everything was almost too spicy to enjoy the taste. Ordered 2 different soups and you could just see all the red pepper floating atop the soup. Every time I took a bite I just started coughing and choking from the red pepper. We also ordered a green curry and noodle dish and both were also too hot - barely edible considering my lips and mouth were burning. I am 1/2 Asian and accustomed to hot food but I expected the food to be less hot when ordering at a 1. What's most disconcerting is that there is a sign at the register stating "No Refunds" for food that is too hot - so obviously I'm not the only person who feels this way. I appreciate wanting to keep the food authentic, but a business that doesn't listen to it's customer's feedback isn't a very good business. So. I've decided that I won't be returning to this restaurant when there are so many other Thai restaurants to choose from. $38 meal that was too spicy to enjoy.
