Good mix of food choices. Fresh soups served, not the prepackaged stuff most eateries have.
Tasty pizza also.

Was busy but not packed for a Saturday evening. Had to wait nearly 20 minutes to get one menu for two people when the group next to us had 4 or more sitting on the edge of their table not being used anymore. Both of us that ordered did not get our side salads but they did take off three dollars from the bill for each one. Food was good but overall service was poor. It was my first time their and may go back to give them a chance to redeem themselves sometime down the road.

Our thin crust and hand tossed specialty pizzas were delicious. We had great service. And the dining/bar area and bathrooms were very clean. We would definitely eat at the Rock House Grill & Tavern again.

Had the BBQ combo, sorry guys but way overcooked. Ribs were dry and half the chicken breast too. Wasn't worth the money. The waiter just smiled and said he had another overcooked complaint. And said that it must be the night for overcooked food. Took his tip and we left. 3 stars are generous. The sweet potato fries were good.

Had very friendly service. I even dropped my wallet and the waitress ran outside to give it back to me. the problem I had was with the food ordered the nachos for a starter and they weren't very good the cheese sauce tasted like salty wax and the salsa was worse.. they put red onions in there which I've never heard of the steaks were okay but for being ribeye and New York strip were kind of tuff maybe the burgers are better.

My favorite place in Houghton to eat! Great homemade food, full bar & friendly service. Kids can go play in the game room after dinner. Games are limited but there are no other choices around town. Pizza is an excellent choice too.
