I have actually work for saranello's. All I can say is the food is very good. And to the guy that's an Olive Garden is better. Everything at Olive Garden comes out of a box. Everything at saranello's is made from scratch even the noodles for the pasta good food is the best quality food you can ask for they have a very good spinach gnocchi their chicken parm is very good I personally like all their food

Excellent place. Much fancier than you would think, for being in the bottom of a hotel. Very good wine and beer selection.
I tried spaghetti and meatballs, chicken parmesan, salmon & spinach, Caesar salad. All were good, but the spaghetti and meatballs and chicken parmesan were EXCELLENT.
There's room for big groups here. We had a nice little side room for our holiday party for work.response / report this review -

Service was good until I receive the wrong meal. When I finally was able to flag down my waiter he said he'd get me the right meal. By the time I got my meal the rest of my table mates had finished their food. He did not compensate us for my meal. I shouldn't have to ask.

Upscale food for great prices. Some of the best salmon I've ever had. Calamari giardinara is my favorite appetizer. Energetic vibe. Good for work outings, special occasions, or any type of event.

One of the best restaurants in the area! Ordered the chicken parmesan and the eggplant parmesan. Both dishes were to die for! The side salads were huge and fresh. Even the complimentary bread was delicious.
Our server, Paul, was as nice as they come. Extremely attentive and personable. He made the meal!
Give this restaurant a try. You won't regret it!!

I would give this place a 5 star rating. I went there with my wife for dinner, plenty of parking lot outside, the inside is cozy and not too loud and the experience at this restaurant was exceptional!I had the walleye fish (grilled) and my wife had the Marinated skirt steak (medium well). My fish was grilled to perfection, the spices made the taste just unbelievably good I never was expecting walleye to taste this good. I tried a piece if my wife's order of the steak and honestly I haven't tasted steak this good for a long time, it was cooked to perfection yet juicy. I recommend this place for a nice evening out with your loved ones. Our bill came about $110 for two of us including a bottle of red wine (tips not included). see pictures.

Second year in a row that my service and food have been sub-par. I am in the Westin for a conference, and since this is attached to the hotel ended up eating here. The dish served didn't match the description, and the waitress wasn't around to address my concerns. They did compensate my bill. Yesterday, I did have great food and good service, but not enough to make up for tonight and last year.

I've been here a few times and keep coming back for a few reasons. One, the service is great. It can be a little slow on busy weekends (as expected), but the staff are extremely attentive and I've seen the owner walk by and check up on patrons. Awesome guy. Two, very upscale atmosphere at a nice hotel. Three, and most importantly, the food. Lots of classic Italian as well as some local Chicago delights. Everything is perfectly cooked and family style is always a great choice.

Great deco, really warm and welcoming atmosphere! The food was fantastic, with some great options. Staff was really down to earth and nice. Would feel comfortable bringing the family or just going for a date night.
