One of the best Cuban coffee places in town! The staff is nice and if you are a local they usually remember your coffee order and have it made before you get there. LOVE IT!

I would give it 5 stars more if they were on here. The Cuban sandwich I had was phenomenal, best I've had so far!! She had tacos pastor the bomb.

CASH ONLY. Good sized portions. The 3 steak taco meal was great! You may have a little wait to order and get your food. This is a popular local spot. Limited counter seating outside.

Sandy's always has the best courteous service and the best food in town, they are still open and serving with hurricane Irma pending! I have been coming to Sandy's since.1972 or '73 it is truly a local's place with the obvious tourist now and then who has to have explained to them what a cafe con leche is! Sandy's staff, thanks for your awesome service, you ROCK!

Sandy's Cafe is a great way to eat and do laundry at once.
Wow, talk about killing 2 birds with one stone.
Sandy's cafe is in the M&M Laundromat.
Also Sandy's cafe changed their operating hours from 5am to midnight.
Authentic Cuban food. Awesome cafe con leche.

    Update. 4/23/17

Sandy's is going strong. There is a line in the morning and lunch, but the wait is worth it. The Staff get orders quick to keep the line moving.

Sandy's isn't open 24/7, the hours are 5am to midnight (open 19 hours). They are located on White street in the M&M Laundromat.

Got my breakfast there this morning. You eat outside at a counter with stools. While waiting for my omelette I was able to overhear some conversations. A lot of people returning to Key West explicitly return to Sandy, looking forward to some dish or drink from former vacations. Got my breakfast, got my coffee and I understood. Go there! Great coffee, lovely staff!

My wife and I eat here every time we visit Key West. We always go here before we even go to our room to check in. (IT'S THAT GOOD!) I suggest the Sandy Mix sandwich or the Chicken, Pork, Steak 3 taco platter. Both are some of the best food we've eaten anywhere and hands down the best in KW. Sandy's is open 24/7/365. Always people waiting in line whatever time if day or night. Food takes less than 10 minutes from time of order. Like most places in KW, it's cash only and item prices include tax. ENJOY!

Great spot for authentic Cuban sandwiches! Be prepared to wait in line, but it's worth it!

Great little spot for sandwiches. AMAZING cafe con leche. Very little seating or parking - grab and go might be the best approach.

Con leche is ok, bacon egg and cheese on Cuban toast is OK, cheese toast and sausage not good (links not patties). If you are hungover, it's all delicious.

Service is good, wait is moderate after order taken. We have had this order several times now and have decided it's not worth the money or the calories based on taste, quality and other options.

Went to the other Cuban Sandwich places and for some reason I saved this one for last.

In my opinion this is easily the most authentic of the lot here on Key West. The sandwich is thin and the meat is thinly sliced as it should be. This is the only restaurant in Key West that serves the sandwich in this manner.

Be ready to sit outside on the street but that just adds to the fun. If you're a Cuban sandwich fan and I am make this one first instead of last.

I can't give it five stars because it is a little lacking, not in quality but in seating and ambiance. Don't get me wrong I love a good hole in the wall as much as the next guy. But that doesn't earn you a 5 star rating. And the employees are pleasant, at best - I mean no more so than at any fast food environment. Again I can't 5 star that. But it shares space with a laundromat so you can always throw a load in and grab a bite. And that is worth 4 stars!

The food, though, was fantastic and worth the overpriced rickshaw bike ride to get here. I'll admit we could have walked, however, there is something gratifying about paying another human being to labor intensely to get you where you want to goam I right or am I right (just call me Walter -extra points if you get that reference). And in the end we're both happy the rickshaw driver took us the longest way possible to get to Sandy's (big fare) and I got to be the reason he had a leg cramp that night.

Personal satisfaction makes a meal that much more enjoyable. And it is fun to get off the beaten path and eat where the locals go. I definitely recommend Sandy's Cafe.
