I was a first time customer. Friendly, quick service. I thought the food tasted great and it was quiet. I would highly recommend their food!

First thing, get these guys a better payment system, I want to tip! I come here all the time and although my wraps have felt a little lighter overall I still come back because I dig these guys. Inviting, friendly and honestly good food. Maria and Mario are seriously awesome n quick! The cookies are AMAZING TOOOOOO!

    See revised review last paragraph

While the sandwiches are unique, and often quite good, the service is spotty. In the morning, the food preparer is alone, taking orders, answering phones (they often don't pick up), and preparing the food.

They are constantly out of items like oatmeal (which is quite good when they have it), or croissants for the breakfast sandwiches. The place reeks of mismanagement, which is a pity because the concept is really good, and the variety of items is excellent.

Bottom line: if they have the item you want, AND there is competent help in the kitchen, you may have a great meal.

10/4/16 - no brown sugar for the last month, which is supposed to come with their otherwise delicious oatmeal. Good business, neglected.

NOTE: Emailed the owner about the shortages. He was very responsive, even sent me a gift certificate for a meal there, and made sure they had everything in stock. Revised my review to acknowledge the improvement, and give Sandwich Emporium credit for the response, and appreciation for the food, which is, and always has been really good.

I love sandwich emporium, I've been going here for years and never been let down. The sandwiches do NOT lack quantity or quality of meat.

Was impressed by the website and close proximity to our home. Seemed like a good place to try.

    Parking chancy at best.
Good crowd inside as we entered.

I ordered a pastrami Misnamed as it was nothing but a lot of coleslaw (Obviously bought from a cheap grocery) a slice of cheese and what appeared to be one paper thin slice of pastrami (?) folded over and almost undetectable. A sad disappointment. Hard to believe that they have been in business this long. My last visit!

First time here. Came in to get two sandwiches. Just wanted to try it because of the name. They do have a large selection of a lot of different sandwiches. An it is kind of that hole in the wall shop there's some cool decorations and old timey photos.. The guy who took my order definitely could use some pep in his step. He was not very personable. Caught him on a nose pick twice. But the sandwiches turned out to be just ok. The turkey Tasted like something that I would make it home And I only buy the cheapest ingredients when I'm at home. I would put the flavor of Subway higher than the flavor of the meat and vegetables that we got in this one. Also. Entirely too much mayonnaise. Enough mayonnaise for three sandwiches. It's coming out the sides onto my hands all over my face. The do have some outdoor seating too. My French dip came out pretty dang flat. But the flavor is delicious. I think the French dip is what saved this review From being a one-star

I did my research on a great Sandwich Emporium to go to after a visit to the Observatory. So I chose this small cute quint place.. I had the Sandwich meal, Which was great the Sandwich and breakfast was very flavorful, Cornbread sweet and delectable, Spinach was kind of chalky overall great meal.

I've eaten there a half dozen times and just love it, my problem is I've only had the Cranny melt, it's so good I don't want to try anything else.

Great hole in the wall place to grab a quick bite to eat. Sits back off the main street so might be hard to see. Fun retro atmosphere with nice staff and quick service. I just had a basic ham and swiss sandwich but it was fresh and very good with plenty of meat.

I've eaten here about twice a week for a few months now, it's had one or two off days but overall it's been solid.

I just can't think of anything nearby that's as good as their Pesto Chicken Bacon with a Strawberry Mint Lemonade.

One of these days il get adventurous and try something else on the menu.

This is definitely the best place to have lunch in the immediate area.

Forget Subway or the Taco Shops or Carl's jr and McDonald's and spend a few extra bucks to get something worth eating.

    You won't regret it

My aunt and cousin love this place for their BLT's. I'm not a huge BLT fan but on the occasion I joined them here for dinner, I had a fantastic grilled cheese. It's a cute little deli with decent sandwiches. They do close at 7 though, so if you're going for dinner make it an early one!
