Beautiful hikes, short and long, uphill or flat, whatever you're looking for. Mountain bikers, dogs, and horses welcome. $6 to get in. We had an awesome time. Great views of the valley. Highly recommend.
I love these trails! Take my pup out hiking these mountains often. They're beautiful and have a nice variety of levels, easy to hard. Be sure, however, to get a parking ticket properly, the rangers are always out trying to make their money.
Hikes for all levels and time frames. I took my four year old on a 20 min walk that was beautiful and simple (not stroller simple, but easy hiking)
Very scenic. Well maintained wide trails that are not too busy during the day. Some great views from the top of mountain. Best way to feel like you are getting out of Phoenix without actually leaving the city limits!
Awesome! Took family & Friends on a hike twice. Good work out. Nice little museum, too! Important: always ask for the best trail to take to fit your workout. Some are quite long.
Nice park. Come here on a Monday morning..there might be two other peeps here besides yourself.
I really like these trails. I feel they are well kept. It would be nice if this park had camping or fire pits like Usery.
Super convenient. Trails of a wide diversity of difficulty and lengths. Routes are relatively easy to figure out and, if you cannot, pretty much anyone you talk to will be more than willing to share their knowledge with you to make your visit more pleasant. All of that and the trails are wide enough that I can spot snakes to keep my dog safe.
$6 dollar entry for single vehicle. Great mix of easy, moderate, and hard trails. Some of the loops can take an hour or two, so bring plenty of water. People are friendly, the scenery beautiful, and its super quiet.
I went on a Sunday morning early. It was quite crowded near the entry, but as soon as I got a half mile or so down one of the trails it was nice and quiet. The trail was well established, and the view was incredible. Take a sun hat, wear comfortable shoes, TAKE WATER, and enjoy the walk. It's a nice place to get away from the city for a while.
Fun trail. its a national park. so be prepared to pay a couple bucks to get in. But its very clean.
It's a great place to mountain bike, hike, go horse back riding, spend time with your family, has beautiful scenery & a store to buy water, gatorade, snacks etc.
Good for a quick workout. Nothing special or spectacular, but sunsets can be pretty good. Easy to medium trails. Good for mountain biking for all ages.
I took my 6 year old hiking here and she loved it. There are numerous paths to follow and the maps/signs are easy to read. We were both able to the traverse the trail up into the mountain. I believe it was $6 to enter per car. We will definitely head back again in the future.
Love this park! It's a great place to take a quick jaunt up a mountain and see the sunset or sunrise and be in nature without driving too far. Great variety of trails for mountain biking, hikers, runners and equestrian.
