This place is a joke, they lie constantly and not professional. Do not get melinda Andrew's as a foster worker cause she is not professionally, a horrible communicator and a liar.

Faith based organization?????? Also connected with CPS and legal kidnappings!! Judgement day is coming!!! All the lies the workers make up to keep your kids in placement, you WILL answer to your Lord! So disappointed in humanity at this point in life.

If I could give them 0000 I would. Why in the world would cps
ever turn a foster case to these people. Poorly trained, uninformed, and untrustworthy! Please state of michigan, review what these people are doing! Is there no oversight on these cases? And where are the lawyers, therapists, and professionally trained social workers in their system???? Why in the world would a foster parent refuse to allow a foster child the ability to communicate privately with their caseworker? Anyone? Anyone out their monitoring these kids? If I could give them 0 stars, I would. This office is perpetuating abuse within the foster care system. We were a borrowed bed for this organization for our very first foster care placement (that thankfully just ended with her adoption! woohoo!). Their office is beyond unprofessional, and they consistently place children with unsuitable foster families. Our kiddo came from a Samaritas family with a ton of abuse inflicted upon her because of them. And after 6 calls to CPS, Samaritas denied our claims and placed a four-month-old with this family anyway. They are the problem within the child welfare system. If you can find another agency, please do it. You will not receive the support you need during a time that's stressful and uncertain enough. Find an agency that will care for you well, friends. This is not that agency. Foster care is hard enough as it is, and I can't believe the ringer we've been through with 3 workers in under a year. I had to fight so many battles that should never have even come up, while managing a child (on our own because we received ZERO services from this agency) who had just lost everything and experienced abuse on top of abuse. Don't let our story be your story!

I've had 7 workers total in a year and a half and 5 of them from Samaritas with only one consistant worker which we were just switched from. 1 worker from Samaritas lied on the stand about our case of which she only had for one week and lied with no punishments, had never tried getting ahold of us until her last day on our case and had never met her until court. Lack of communication is a huge problem with caseworkers for this company. My most recent case worker recieved our file on the 4th of May, didnt contact us until the 22nd, and has only responded to one of my messages and hasnt gotten ahold of me since. My therapist tried getting ahold of her with no answer, tried e-mailing her and the e-mails wont go through, called the office and they claim to not have a Jaquiline case worker. This is a serious area in life for inexperienced and unprofessional people to be playing a role in when it involves families, children, and supposedly people whom care about reuniting them.
