This is Karen Sam & Harry's is one of my favorite places to dine. The food is outstanding! Great service, and the ambiance is the best. Impressive!

I ordered a Mac n cheese and I waited for 2 hours and they come to me and say we don't have anymore pasta would you like to have a peanut butter sandwich. So I waited 2 hours for a Mac N Cheese then apparently they ran out of pasta and they offer me peanut for a couple buck. How would it even take them 2 hours to find out you ran out of pasta to make Mac N Cheese.

Engaged and attentive staff, bone marrow was done well, calamari was fresh and light. Wine selection was above average and had some great selections no matter your price point.

(3.5 stars). Bottom line is this place is fine. Nothing special, just a nice looking restaurant in a hotel with an open layout that can be loud. Sam and Harry's used to be an upscale steakhouse. It now feels like the upper end of the chain steakhouse that it is. Service was fine and the food was fine. Portions were small for the price. Dessert was uninspiring. Chicago Prime (around the corner) has better quality, larger portions and is more like a classic upscale steakhouse with more attentive service.

I tried this place for brunch and while the service was excellent, I can't say the same for the food. The buffet food was dried (except for the fruits). We also ordered food from the menu and it was ok. The ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful, staff were friendly & attended to your needs, outside seatings are available but as I stated the food was just standard. For the price, I would have expected better quality.

Debbie who's been there for 11 years was the first to greet us with open arms and immediately ushered us to our table she gave us a rundown of the history of the restaurant, gave us a list of specialty cocktails and reassured us that we were going to have a great evening and a great evening we did have. She paid attention to the most minute details of our dining experience
She was patient and thorough asked us all kinds of questions about our palette. she recommended several items to us
All of which we favored with so much delight.
There's something to be said to witness someone who truly enjoys what they do, she was that person.
The food was exceptional. The ambience just perfect. The views peaceful.
We cannot wait to return again.

I had an awful experience. It took way to long for our food to come, and by the time we got it it wasn't very warm. The food is pleaset, I just wish the service was better.

Seriously the staff was amazing! We went here on Easter for Brunch. The experience was worth Well more than we paid. I have told several friends and family. We will return!!!
