They always have what you want!
The store was very smelly and the dog food I bought passed it's sell-by date three months prior. Be sure to check! I always try to get my pet supplies from small/local places, but I'm not sure about this one.
Rude employees, owner stands around flirting with female employees and simply walks away when customers come to the counter with questions. If you are purchasing feeder mice, they will stuff 4-6 mice into one box and tell you to bring your own box next time.
Very friendly, knowable, young lady who is a pet groomer works there was so helpful. I will continue to shop there
Excellent service extremely helpful.very clean.
The owner is rude, && his personality reflects the care of the animals and the condition of his stores.
Affordable and why not support a local business that cares. Also, best retailer around for reptile needs.
Avoid this business like the plague. If you buy a pet there, get it vetted immediately, because they don't. You can find everything but Victor dog food elsewhere at better prices. Humans and pets alike are treated like crap by the owner. Their local competitors facilitate adoptions and donate a great deal of money to rescues, this owner runs rescues off and makes the employees pay for vetting of pets for sale in the store when they get sick, and even fixing the store bathroom. Employees don't even get breaks! There isn't a single chair in the store. Employees are expected to eat standing at the counter in between waiting on customers.
Spend your money where you and your pet are truly appreciated, with a business that participates and gives back to community, companion animals and their caregivers. This one doesn't.
We use this store regularly. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
Good prices great staff
ALWAYS went to PetSmart not so much now, one bad experience can change how you do business. Saluda River is now getting our business!
I've never been inside the Seneca store until today and although the employees are friendly and easy to talk to , the store is probably the filthiest I've ever seen !!
ALL; ( and I do mean ALL ) aquariums were dirty on inside and out . I saw two dead fish in the tanks being EATEN by the live fish ( disgusting ! ) and the tail and partial remains left from one dead fish .
Every bird cage and rodent cage ( including ones without animals inside ) were loaded with feces , plus bird feces on the floor below the bird cages .
ALL the water bowls ( rabbits , guinea pigs AND birds ) needed cleaning and fresh water and the only animals living quarters that looked okay and not dirty were in the reptile section .
So beware if you choose to shop from this store because of the lack of cleanliness .
Negative - The filth !! Looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks or maybe months !
Positive - nice employees and the store has some interesting looking fish and adorable , cool animals ..
We went in yesterday, and all the animal tanks were filthy. One of the rabbits had flies swarming in it's cage, and another smaller bunny was very sick. I picked it up and it just went limp in my hands. I told one of the kids working there, but who knows if he even checked on it.Their water dish was very dirty, also. Like the water hadn't been changed in a few days. Fish tanks hadn't been cleaned at all. Birds looked depressed. Just a bunch of kids hanging out at the front desk instead of doing their jobs taking care of the animals.
