Charles is an amazing stylist! Normally hairdressers in the past always section my hair once washed and would cut then and it would look great. But the way Charles did mine was such a refreshing take on layers and the cut itself it looks so much more natural this way. I LOVE IT. Definitely going back for an ombre!

Charles did a beautiful job with my hair, I’m so happy with the results! I came in for a keratin treatment and was a little nervous about the process because I’ve never had this done before. However, as soon as he got started I knew I was in good hands! The whole process took several hours but he was extremely diligent and meticulous the entire time. I also had lots of questions and he was super patient with me. Professional, friendly, passionate about his work, genuine - just a few words to sum him up! I highly recommend if you want fabulous results!!! I will definitely be back. :)

I had a very good experience today. Charles welcomed me as a new walk in and quickly transformed my split ends into beautiful straights manageable hair. I will definitely be back and recommend this salon to anyone looking for a stylist. The salon is clean, inviting, and Charles uses top quality products. Great place for men and women of all ethnicities.

I was a walk-in and Charles was my stylist. Charles was very nice and provided great service. I wanted to color my hair back black and he did a great job. The product he used colored my grey stray hairs very well. I will definitely go back.

Did a Keratin treatment with Charles and he was great. Very flexible with hours and availability (big plus)! The keratin treatment was amazing - so helpful for this summer humidity. Will definitely go back there to do more!

Salon of Evidence was my first salon experience in Charlotte. Charles is an awesome stylist. Although I was a new client, he stayed late on a Friday to accommodate my schedule. I told him what I wanted and he gave me the best precision cut that I have had outside of Chicago. The prices are fantastic and best of all, I didn't have to spend an entire day at a hair salon.

I cannot day how amazing my experience was but it was the best ever!!!!!!. I don't trust hair salons but this will forever be the place I go and Charles will be my stylist. He is a God when it comes to highlights and doing color and man can that man wash hair.

While I was there I saw the other stylists do some amazing weaves and cuts they blew my mind!!!! They were friendly funny and all.around a pleasure. Not only that but they worked me in in a Saturday and my hair is phenomenal!!!! I had uneven dark hair and walked out with beautiful highlights and ombre blonde that would have taken any other stylist three or four trips to .achieve. I love this place!!!!!

I had a great experience at Salon of Evidence! I am new to the area and wanted to go because of the great reviews. Charles did an excellent job on my hair and took very good care of me. He doesn't overbook to treat each customer with the time that is needed. The prices are reasonable and he provides great care to his clients! Will definitely be back!

Charles is an amazing stylist and person. I came to Charlotte for the weekend and he was nice enough to work me in for a same day appointment. He also stayed on the phone with me and directed me to the correct parking deck. He took the time to understand what hairstyle I was looking for. The result was nothing short of being fabulous! I received many compliments. I will definitely go back to Salon of Evidence to let Charles work his magic.

Charles is an awesome stylist!!! I love how he caters to each one of his clientshe doesn't overbook! He gives each client their time. Listening to their wants and giving input when needed (from a hair specialist's view point). It's obvious he wants the best for his clients and puts forth his best effort to satisfy his clients!!

This salon got me in last min for basic curls for an event same evening. One side of my hair didn't want to work with me shortly after appt so i improvised and moved those curls to add volume. The staff was friendly, made me feel comfortable and i was in and out in
no time. I have crazy thick hair and the gentleman worked his magic.

It has been a few weeks and I am still very upset with how my hair looked when I left. I looked like James Brown in his mug shot. The person Charles who did my hair tried to say it looked good. It was a hot mess. He was pleasant but that did not negate from my hair looking worse that when I came in. He then charged me an extra 10 dollars. Charles gave me a price and he did not adhere to it. He knew that I was upset with how he made my hair look. Why would he charge an additional 10 dollars on top of the price he guaranteed ? I felt taken advantage of. He also asked last minute for cash, and he had the nerve to ask if I wanted to tip. I would have felt comfortable if we just called it even and I did not pay. That's how horrid my hair looked. I immediately went to another salon and had it fixed. He had me looking like Money Mike on Friday After Next when Damon was chasing him around the hood. PS he also asked if I wanted my ends cut because my hair looked damaged. The only damage is his work. My hair is healthy and long. I did not want to write this but being that it has been weeks and I'm still upset I must warn the people. I am
Truly flabbergasted expecially with the price increase and the tip question after he was aware I hated my hair. I should not have paid but should of ,could of ,would of ,but NEVER AGAIN. I really think he should be ashamed. I He knows that transaction did not follow business ethics. Unethical/unacceptable. Oh he then asked me for cash last minute. Again flabbergasted !

I would highly recommend this salon. I am new to Charlotte and Charles did an excellent job with my hair. I have thick frizzy hair and my blow dry was really well done. I am definitely going to continue to come to this salon. Happy I found it !!

Charles is amazing at his craft! He does all of my chemical services and cuts/trims. He takes the time to talk with his clients about their preferences and what they want. For example, I truly hate getting cuts/trims but my hair needed a good trim to improve the overall health and assist in future growth. Knowing that I prefer my hair long, Charles made sure we were absolutely, 100% in agreement on the amount to be trimmed before he got started. The end result was perfect and just what I had in mind!! In addition, the salon is very clean and relaxing. I really enjoy getting my hair services at Salon of Evidence.

I've been going to Charles for the past 4 mos and I have finally found a stylist in Charlotte that I can trust with my hair. Charles(owner) is patient, punctual, professional, and dependable. I work out of town and he even works around my hectic schedule. I suffered severe hair breakage from a stylist who failed to properly wash out a relaxer back in 2011 when I first moved here. My hair that was damaged is finally starting to grow again! I wish I had found him back in 2010, but I thank God I found him now. He has truly been a blessing. He has a beautiful salon inside of the 5/3rd bank on S. Tyron and it's a very relaxing environment. Charles takes pride in his work and the health of your hair will be his # 1 priority. This is the best my hair has looked since I moved here. If you're dissatisfied with the quality of service you've been receiving, or if your hair just needs some TLC, give Charles at Salon of Evidence a try you won't be disappointed!!

I have been coming to Salon of Evidence for about a year now. It is in a great location being in center city so I dont have to drive far which I love. The stylist Charles is always professional and friendly and always has my hair looking beautiful when I leave. Charles also is super flexible with his schedule so I have been able to get an appt anytime I have needed.

Charles did an excellent job on my haircut and was very understanding of my request to tie as much hair as possible to put into a ponytail and cut so that it may be donated to wigs for kids. I have received numerous compliments since the haircut from co -workers and friends.
