Tried my luck with a new stylist last week. This salon is closer to home and my hair was a disaster so I gave them a shot. Julie at Salon 1401 at The Rink was amazing. Even though she had a ton of work to do to get this mess under control, she fixed my color and got rid of my dead stuff. Feels great to have pretty hair again! Highly recommended! 🤩

My daughter lives out of state and came to Salon 1401 to get her hair done. She looked fabulous! I love it so much, I made an appointment and got mine done. I only got a cut, but the difference it made. So pleased. I will be coming back. Thank you April 😊 ❤️

Went in for a simple highlight. I have tried this place a few years back, and didn’t care for them. Thought I’d try again since I’m living a little closer to them. The decor is really nice. It’s very clean. My blonde highlights turned out REALLY orange/ brassy. When she asked if I wanted them to be really blonde, I said yes. So I’m not sure where the communication went down hill. She also lightened my ends, Which came out super blonde. When I went to get out of the chair, she told me that the highlights on top, would brighten more when the toner washes out. It’s been 3 days and they look even worse. I will not return. It’s expensive enough to have your hair done. Now I’ll have to get it fixed.

Danielle is such an amazing miracle worker. I have grey hair (which she helped me grow out for the last two years ) is very knowledgeable and explains everything in great detail . I sit in her chair with the confidence that she will do her magic I don’t even tell her what to do anymore she just knows and I have never been disappointed. She put on a collagen treatment and my hair looks amazing no frizz and so sleek and shiny. The hair cut is above and beyond what I expected. I have never been disappointed. She is such an asset to the salon and the owner is very particular about who she hires she truly only hires the best. Thank you Danielle for always taking such good care of me and for all the wonderful conversations. I will follow you wherever you go. By the way this salon is beautiful and so exceptionally clean and the prices are amazing. I love the fact that Danielle always has a long term plan for my hair and offers to do anything to let you come back if you need any little changes if you see something you want tweaked. Never have to do this because she gives you perfection the first time. Thank you Danielle you are an amazing stylist and a wonderful person to talk to. See you soon

Great staff and taking things in stride during the current situation. The salon was being constantly cleaned up after each customer and everyone inside of the salon was very considerate of health concerns!
