I was on my way to work and i got a flat on my Shwinn. I had to comence walking the bike to the bus stop i was headed to. And of course the tread came off the wheel. I was stopped on the shoulder of a bridge trying to put the tread back in place and a nice man and his son stopped. The man introduced himself as a bike mechanic, Chris. Turns out he works for this store, Sabino Cycles. He was nice enough to give me a ride to the bus stop. Later when i got off work i found that Chris had left a brand new intertube on my flat bike with his business card 😊 His generosity made my life SO MUCH EASIER and I will continue telling this story because Chris Stringer is awesome! Thankyou Sabino Cycles and Chris!

I have lived in the neighborhood of Sabino Cycles for nearly 20 years I have only begun shopping at Sabino Cycles maybe 10 years ago
The quality of the products they carry, and service (letting me borrow air for my tires from time to time), has been nothing short of exceptional. Thank you to, Lorna MacQuarrie, and all of the staff and owner, for your welcoming presence.

Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. They were more than happy to answer questions / test ride bikes even when we were openly considering buying a bike through Craigslist. Great shop.

I purchased an expensive bicycle from Sabino Cycles several weeks ago. I thought that I could have the handle bar stem swapped out if I needed more height. Maybe I misunderstood the sales person but I don't think so. I went back a week lat

er to request a different stem and the owner insisted that I put some more miles on the bike. I was left with the impression that I was going to have to be firm in what I wanted and that the owner knew better than me as to what was best for me . I returned in a week and asked that a different stem be installed. It was and when I went to pick it up I was told that I had to pay for the new stem. When I protested the owner said that if I had paid $150 for a bike fitting I wouldn't have to pay for the new stem. I paid for the stem and told the owner that I wasn't very happy and would not be back. He replied that "that was my choice." Needless to say I won't be back.

I am so impressed with this small cycle business. I went in just to get a tube replaced, and the helpful people in the service department told me that I needed a new tire so they were able to give me a new tire and a new tube for a really inexpensive price. The most amazing thing though, is that I was struggling to put my bike away in my car, and the owner top me how to take my front wheel off and make my bike more mobile for transportation. She did not have to teach me how to do that, but out of the kindness of her heart and support of her business, she helped me out and gave me a free lesson. What a shining example of how a small business should be run, I recommend to everyone!
