  Really hard to not be unkind with this. I was treated for a year by Dr. Saad for GBS (which I got the impression not many in the area are very familiar with). So it was a traumatic time for by family and I. Looking back six months I have two main impressions - 1. They didn't really listen to me. I would get asked the same questions and/or they would not know the answers I had given several times already. I think part of it comes down to everything being done with pen, paper, and file folders as opposed to computers. They seemed unorganized - which is not really comforting. I had prescriptions unfilled and appointments changed without notifying me. 2. Because my GBS happened at the end of a year, I had a second full year of met deductibles. I told Dr. Saad that I wanted to get my carpal tunnel surgery done that year to avoid a third year of deductible. She acted like we had to make sure my GBS was taken care of first even though I told her it was something that was present prior to. I'm not a doctor, but I know myself and my body. I believe I was treated based on assumption and not investigative research and that I was given very expensive medicine and treatment (that I told her wasn't doing much) and I have a gut feeling it was done because my deductible was paid and she could make bank. So I feel like it was a two star experience, but don't necessary have a way to prove it. Today I still have lingering issues with the GBS, but my hands are almost constantly numb and I really don't have the means to mess with a third year of deductible at this point. Which is frustrating since I asked more than once to have the surgery scheduled and was basically ignored.
