My wife was working here until recently. She has had multiple issues with this place. If you are looking at this for a place of work it is only good if you are in the "click" with the higher ups. She requested a day off for an ultrasound. Having requested this day off more than a month in advance. She never works on a friday and yet amazingly behold the power of the almighty managers she is scheduled for that very friday that just happens to be the day of the ultrasound. Upon trying to fix this issue suddenly a rule pops up where you can't switch your shifts. When it comes to taking care of the residents this place operates with an unlocked facility where an alarm sounds if a door is opened. As there is at many times only one person per floor and being only two floors the person working may already be engaged in a situation that they cannot leave when an alarm sounds. This is not a very safe way to run a care facility. Pay scale for employees is less than that of other care facilities for equivalent position with more responsibility. There are many more issues that arise with this facility both in employment and in safety of residents. The only positive that can be given to this location is that the workers do care about their residents. The residents are treated very well. The issues arise from the management and there ability to properly manage and treat staff. Even if the problems of how my wife was treated there was resolved i still could not give a good rating due to the lack of staffing that should be present to be able to provide safety for the residents.
