DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE
The massage was 2/5. Can you imagine getting a 30 minutes massage for $50, and was forced pay $25 for tip?
I pay decent amount of tips to everyone whose service I really appreciate. But this is not acceptable.
“We charge minimum $20 tip”
When I asked why I was charged for $25 and they didn’t say anything about it
“You didn’t ask.”
Fine
Very rude. I had the same experience; I was demanded $20 instead of the $10 I was giving her, adding that it was not a restaurant to tip her 15%. The massage was mediocre for $70.
They took me in last minute which I appreciated. I thanked them and proceeded to walk back into the room. The massage wasn’t very good. It seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing, she didn’t care or maybe she didn’t want to be there. The massage was for 60 minutes but she started at 2:45 and ended at 3:30, also she left the room 6 times during the massage. Not to mention she kept coughing and I swear I felt like I was getting sick half way through.
After the massage was done I was planning on tipping her $10 but I only had a $20. Before I had the opportunity to ask her for change, she told me “you have to pay me a tip” - umm what? I know this, I’ve had a massage before but it’s extremely rude that she asked. I asked her if she had change for a $20, she said “why do you want change ? A massage is $20 tip” once again, rude. At this point I didn’t even want to tip, I didn’t even get my clothes on and she was not leaving the room.
She started changing out the sheets while I was still getting dressed. I left the room and the lady at the front desk reminded me that I had to give a tip. Ok two employees telling me I need to tip? Very unprofessional, now I REALLY didn’t feel like tipping. I told her I was planning on tipping her $10 but I only had a $20, did she have change.
I left tipping her $10 when I really didn’t feel like tipping her at this point. It was $73 for a poor quality massage. I was already planning on tipping yet had 2 employees of this establishment tell me “you have to tip”.. Although this is very close to me, I won’t be coming back and certainly won’t recommend for anyone to get a massage here.
Message was decent, masseuse walked out and talked to coworker through the wall constantly. Afterwords they demanded a $20 dollar tip specifically and wouldn’t let me leave without tipping $20. Very sketchy place. Would not recommend
Massage was OK but the customer service before and after could be improved - I made reservations for 3 ahead of time and when we came they only had one room available so ended up starting the massage 30 minutes late. Then, for some reason they shortened the massage (45 minutes for $60) and did not provide any explanations.
I completely understand that sometimes plans change and things go wrong, just wish the manager or someone else would care about customer satisfaction.
