Meh. Therapists talking in Chinese the entire time during our massage
My hubs and I have never had a massage. I wanted to surprise him with one. I spent over 2 weeks calling other places but most were booked out weeks or over a month in advance!
I visited TS Reflexology's website and was able to make us an appointment the very next day.
He asked for the deep tissue massage w/CBD and I asked for the Swedish massage w/CBD. Both of us had 60 minutes of time but my experience differs from my husband's.
He said, "It was nice but I fell asleep. But I was sore the next day." 🙄
Here is what I recall from my experience.
The establishment was clean and serene. There was spa music playing in the background and the scent of eucalyptus was in the air.
Both of our masseuse were ready and waiting behind the desk, as we entered the door.
I was ushered down a hallway, before my hubs. It was a bit dim and the walls are painted a dark color. For someone like me, my vision is extremely bad in low lighting. A passed a few closed doors and the young lady opened a door to my room.
At first glance, I noticed the massage table with a white sheet on top. In the corner was a counter and above it was a small sized bathroom type mirror. I recall a stainless steel looking large box or container. I think it's where they keep the oils or lotions warm? I wanted to peek into it but I didn't.
She instructed me to undress and pointed where I could hang my clothing and purse. She then exited the room.
As I began to undress, I then noticed another sheet folded over on the table. I assumed that I was to wrap myself with it and I did.
She knocked lightly, entered and instructed me to lay face down. Then I noticed the opening in the table for my face.
I let her know that I've never had a massage and that I am in pain daily. I have fibromyalgia, sciatica issues and tension. I also tried to relate which L thru S is damaged in my lower spine. I also expressed to not push to hard because sometimes it's very painful.
At first, she was gentle but when she pushed harder, I did tell her that was too much.
She was very gentle to start. She was very good at gradually applying pressure during the massage. Towards the end, I realized that she had been doing deep tissue massage with the CBD oil.
I left there feeling euphoric and completely relaxed.
I just didn't know that I was going to be in so much pain and discomfort days later. I guess you have to get massages regularly so this doesn't happen.
My go to place, always able to get 2 ppl in with a few hr heads up. Always a great experience.
What an experiencehands down the BEST massage I've ever had It was truly amazing! Give em a try and you will not be disappointed!
New mgmt. half of the old services no longer available. Front desk guy doesn’t speak any English so it’s hard to communicate, he uses a voice translator box. Nice people but the massage o had was terrible from Wendy although she was as sweet as can be. I miss the old staff and services.
