Royal is a fun public course. No one fixes their divots or replaces them. Short track.

No idea why ppl rank this so highly. Nice clubhouse albeit overly large. Course is completely average at best. If you live close and need a change of pace, go for it. Not worth driving from west side of CMH for though.

Place it's self was nice, staff very friendly and helpful though the food wasn't the best for $23 a head I was expecting better quality. The green bean casserole undercooked beans had what tasted like Campbells mushroom soup poured over them and cans of French onion topping on top of that. The mashed potatoes seamed like potato flakes with real potatoes thrown in. And the meat was very dry.

Great condition. Place is kept better than most. Challenging holes are some unique shots.

The course is beautiful, the greens are impeccable and the staff is amazing. This course is good for all levels of golf, so if you're a higher handicap, don't let the course scare you. For golfers with lower handicaps, you can score well, just have to place the ball in the best spots. The greens are quick, so be advised.
