When our deal fell through due to seller's multiple defaults, we demanded our deposit back. Route Brokers then filed a frivolous lawsuit with ridiculous claims suggesting they were entitled to keep our deposit. They have since claimed that we actually owe THEM money due to their frivolous lawsuit's attorney fees. Since commencing our counter-claim it's come to light that multiple clients have also sued Route Brokers. Some sued to get their deposit back (see Scordus v. Route Brokers), others sued when Route Brokers allegedly filed improper UCC liens "to extort from Plaintiff large large and unreasonable sums of money" and tried "to use the UCC-1 Lien to strong arm [client] into paying [Route Brokers] a Commission."
